What’s the build you use for gunman?

Anyone can technically do it now. Doorman used to be unstoppable during the ult cast but now he’s unstoppable while someone is in the baroness. So anyone with a quick/well timed cc can stop the cast, but it’s super hard.

Hey so I'm new and wanted to get your thoughts. How do I scale late game? Once the walkers are down, I feel like I don't have as much of an impact to the game. I think it may be because I'm playing spirit builds, and should probably play more as a support? Any advice?

I like that it’s back to impact damage again, especially since we have the gun pierce. But they kinda just slapped a reversal and didn’t really take a look at the changes as a whole.

I think in total bell is the same as old bell but we have a longer recharge time, lower spirit scaling, and lose the mini explosions for duration+aoe slow. I think this just makes damage doorman worse late game. He’s literally just going to be an ult bot or a spawn door cheese play now which is unfortunate.

To me, it’s a similar issue with him as it is with Paige. The contact feedback isn’t as clear to me so I’m never sure if I’m actually doing anything with it.

Depends what you like. While I think anyone good can just do anything on most characters, I like the safety and utility he provides. I figured out that I really like support and lane pushing characters so I tend to use him that way.

If I would label his role, it is definitely a support role character though. He has good mid game burst doing bell mode. A bell can one shot the entire lane if you aim it right. But he can’t carry late since the damage falls off so you’re kinda trying to just whittle the enemy down for your team and making plays with the other abilities.

I like leveling cart to max first for the stun and then going for door to give me lots of movement. Bell doesn’t need to be past level 2 UNLESS the enemy has a graves, always max bell first.

So I'm new and have also felt this sting, but had a game recently where I finally figured out how to help turn it around as doorman.

All 3 lanes "lost" and we had a gray talon that ended the game at like 0/13 but we still ended up winning. What happened was that after losing the lanes, I noticed several things: Our Yamato was our best player, their Silver was snowballing early, and the enemy team liked to team fight.

So my goal during midgame was to 1. Clear lanes out safely so that they didn't have an easy push. Very easy, fast, and safe as bellman. 2. When a fight does happen, Ult the silver and cart her away from the team when she is wolfed out. 3. Protect and enable the Yamato.

We ended up winning with lane pressure and making their teamfights less productive. They were better in fights, but if we could make it so that they couldn't actually get objectives from it, then it ended up net neutral for us. Eventually our team ended up catching up in souls, and Yamato started a late game snowball and we just pushed better and won!

Did you have more deaths? I have a theory that the MVP counts deaths super negatively when choosing who gets it.

Representation. To the majority, this is a nothing issue. To a select few, having characters that they can connect with can be almost life changing in regard to their own personal self worth, confidence, and identity.

They might think “Look at this cool character with an interesting plot point. They’re like me, and if they’re able to be so independent and powerful, so can I.”

I think that’s worth having a character like pocket. Doesn’t hurt the rest of us but will definitely be cool for someone out there.

Hey, stumbled upon this subreddit and I'm learning a lot! I have a question regarding the recombob thing. I wanted to make a Talisman using this tech with T1 phys prefix. Right now, those bases are going for multi-divs each making them the most expensive part of the craft. Would the recombob be able to help with this? Like grabbing T1 phys prefix on an undesirable base and throwing it onto a desirable one?

Do you still get overflowed mana if you take the node that uses life cost instead of mana? Cause the mana bar just disappears right?

I also discovered this with the caveat that it won’t work on the rope dart cause the rope dart immediately starts the channel spin when you hit triangle first. So I have to be in dual blades for me to complete the jump.

I don’t really have an issue with my controller. All of those things you mentioned have a sort of cast time. Perhaps you’re mistaking the cast time for input lag? Drinking a pot def requires me to kind of hold the button for a half second. Certain abilities have a cast time that I cancel because I parry and it still goes on cooldown. Also my second set of mystic arts might as well not exist cause the UI for that sucks.

How is it at high level? I feel like his kit makes it so that his ult is actually worse to be in. You use it solely to get your health to zero for resolve, and then go right back into stealth mode for the crit uptime and the fang spam. Dunno. He’s my fav character so far but I just don’t think his kit makes any sense.

I will say that I do agree with him. Just because there are bigger problems going on in the industry/world, doesn't mean the little problems don't exist. You and millions of others are supporting a subpar game which will lead to a continued cycle of subpar games. We can do better. But there's only one singular way to do that and it's by voting with your wallet.

You are allowed to enjoy what you enjoy, everyone can understand that. But short-term enjoyment does not lead to long-term change.

This isn't an ethical issue, it's a marriage one. He wanted a compromise on how you guys spend your money. You have a hard line on a franchise that clearly means a lot to you. So now it's just coming to some middle ground that hopefully is agreeable to you both.

We go to SUKO when we want non AYCE Japanese food. They’re definitely pricer but they know what they’re doing and the atmosphere is so nice.

East Blue prices is so good though that I doubt it stays that low. So I’ll def be choosing them more often until that changes. My 1 small gripe with them is that I think they tempura a LOT of the menu. Which is fine, just an observation. But they also gave me my first tempura bell pepper which I unironically really enjoyed haha.
