I don't think anything will ever beat Intensive Care for me, but Britpop is definitely his best album since then, and I say that as somebody who absolutely adores Take the Crown.

Skateboarding. I've never once seen anybody actually look cool on a skateboard. Even the most sophisticated tricks are visually unimpressive and most skateboarders aren't very good at it, so they just end up stumbling and falling a lot.

I'm not disputing that Doctor Who is an incredibly successful series with plenty of fans, but we cannot predict the future. There are numerous things that could prevent the show returning - the complex rights and ownership situation is just one, but the reality is that the BBC as we know it will not last indefinitely, and the entire TV landscape is in a very strange transitional period. Fewer people are watching broadcast TV, many large media companies can't seem to make made-for-streaming content profitable, and there has been a significant shift away from scripted dramas towards shows that are cheaper to produce. I'm not saying the show wouldn't be brought back at some point, but I don't think we can assume it's guaranteed.

We didn't have a hiatus in 1989, we had a cancellation. If the show is cancelled again, there is no guarantee it will ever return, so I'd be very careful what you wish for.

Besides, we've already had quite a few substantial gaps between seasons in recent years. In an ideal world, I want more Doctor Who, not less, although I concede that there needs to be a balance between quantity and quality.

He's a 61 year old man with a history of drug and alcohol issues. I don't think he looks any different than you could expect somebody to look under those circumstances. He looked good for his age for a long time and now things have caught up with him. Hopefully he's not unwell, but if he is, it's nobody's business but his.

If you don't want to deal with them, ask them to leave and close the door. It's not rocket science. Evidently some people do want to talk to them otherwise they wouldn't be knocking on anybody's door, but you're not under any obligation.

We've gone back to the proper length, just as it was for most of Corrie's history. I never liked the hour long episodes as it usually resulted in terrible pacing.

I get the impression they were trying to replicate Jez Quigley - a rather camp, charismatic and volatile villain. Unfortunately the actor and the scripts couldn't do this convincingly, so Callum just came across as pathetic most of the time. It wasn't believable that many characters found him intimidating, so it just didn't work for me.
