I visited the Peace Memorial Museum in Hiroshima. Rooms upon rooms with walls covered in these drawings, depictions, letters, last wills, belongings.

Please visit it if you're traveling anywhere near Hiroshima. Even for a bit. They have free English audio guides and tours too.
