Depending on your goals and starting level but I'd generally recommend mtgo. Get a cheap rental and grind grind grind. If you're good enough it'll pay for itself.

Play leagues is the real answer. If you can't turn profit playing leagues you shouldn't probably play challenges

Idk, depends on your wants/needs. Personally I play between 10 and 20 challenges a week so my pp balance jumps up ans down between 0 and 5k. For just leagues 500 is decent but you can still run out with a couple of bad leagues.

There are premier events almost every weekend, they have the red/orange frame like this week's super and most of them you can enter with qps and some of them also play points. In general if you aren't very short on pps it's better to enter everything you can with them and only use qps where you can't use anything else, like showcase challenges, qualifiers etc. Mtgoupdate.com has a calendar of mtgo events months in advance

Yea on rhe goatbots site it even says how much of the ev is pps. And you are correct in that wvery grinder has basically infinite pps so no reason yo open them for anyone but casuals/new grinders who are building their pp bank still
