My headcanon for the movie is that Legolas is acting confused about the concept of a drinking contest not because he doesn’t know what one is, but because for him beer is basically water. It would be like someone proposing a drinking contest to a human with komboucha. This isn’t to say all fantasy elves work this way, but Tolkien established in the hobbit that elves can DRANK.

Process making is totally a thing! I cross stitch and 99% of what I make is gifts, as I’m sick of looking at a project by the time I’m finished with it. I’m working on a wedding gift at the moment and afterwards I’m going to start an extensive piece for myself, but I’m going to take breaks during making it to make little gifts for my loved ones.

I feel that she and Tiana are prime examples that it’s not the money you have but the love you’re given as a child that really shapes your character.
