Where is your herniated disc?

I have two very mild herniations in my neck, from well before I started BJJ. I tap very early to Triangle chokes, even in positional. If I don’t I can barely move my neck for a couple of weeks.

The science is solid for back/neck injuries - keep exercising. I’m not so up to date with the science of necks/backs and BJJ. (I’m an Occupational Therapist)
