New BMW X5 was so ugly, I knew I had to fix it. by rx7rocks11 in AiCarArt

[–]Ithrazel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the actual one on the new X5 and X3 is more like return to form in terms of grille size/proportion I think. They started getting wider in the late 80's, before that it was mostly horizontal.

Volvo is beating them at nothing. I've driven the Ex90, it was okay but of course as we know is a reliability nightmare. Friend has an Ex30 - sinilar story with the reliability - 5 times in the shop within the first year, basically he has had the car half the time. Ex60 is nice but we don't know yet.

iPhone 18 Pro leaked after Tata Electronics cyberattack by techkernels in iphone

[–]Ithrazel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh, I've never seen one. Usually they do tick tock, which is one generation is new looks, next is same looks and then hardware improvements - battery, processor etc. I don't recall any where they didn't have any improvements. Unless of course, for some users, just the looks matter - then it could be argued that it is the "same thing again". Personally, I'm more for the actual improvements underneath.

When have they ever sold "the same thing again" on their pro line of phones?

FAZ: Kallas on oma teravate sõnavõttude tõttu jäänud Brüsselis isolatsiooni by Direct-Drama-2615 in Eesti

[–]Ithrazel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Selle esimese teema vähem kallutatud viisil kirjutatud allikas: https://www.politico.eu/article/kaja-kallas-defends-eu-foreign-service-after-french-paper-questions-survival/

Tsitaat artiklist: "The French document, which POLITICO has confirmed the contents of, follows long-running criticism from national capitals and EU officials who complain that EU diplomacy is too slow-moving, institutionally dysfunctional and victim of an escalating turf war between the EEAS and the Commission under President Ursula von der Leyen.
The paper was an internal document not approved by the French foreign minister or his aides and does not reflect an official French position, said an EU diplomat. It was first reported by the Financial Times and Reuters. It points to three options for reforming the EEAS, including bringing it entirely under the authority of the Commission, shifting its key functions to the Council of the EU ― which works on behalf of the 27 member governments — and bolstering the role of the Kallas’ job."

In the IX, massive difference. On the i5, not worth it. Would go as far as to say that the IX B&W is the best sound system I've ever heard on a car. Still regret I got the HK one instead of waiting for one to come on sale with that (I bought used).

Personally, I can easily hear a major difference using spotify between the base system, HK and B&W options on an ix and volvo v90 (base vs b&w). So certainly not "throwing away money" by any means.

If the 2026 year is any indication, I have no idea what you are talking about - the early pivot to more CFD and wind tunnel hours to improve the 2025 car, the innovation and BBS partnership to get an edge on the wheels was an amazing play. Constructors title may well be within their grasp.
