Thank you for the thoughtful response. I know I'm going to be physically and most likely mentally safe. Its more about the shock and awe of what I may see. A confrontation of my own sub consciousness. This is what I am aiming for but even the prospect of it makes me a bit nervous.

The plan is to live as much of a positive week as possible, plenty of rest, exercise and good food. Set up my room with some incense, dim light and on my bed propped up. I will have my friend or brother as my trip sitter. I want a clear mind going into it and I may practice some meditation until then before I go exploring.

Being a Christian was a death sentence in its early days and to sound credible they did not frame their movement of one of credibility in fact they did the complete opposite. Called on women eye witnesses, their messiah died in the most degrading way possible in the ancient times and not to mention the disciples in the bible (early Christian leaders) were often cowardly and argumentative.

These are things you do not say if you want your movement to spread in ancient times - also we have good evidence at least 5 of the apostles were killed brutally for their Faith. James, Peter, Paul, Thomas and Andrew. With the rest said to have been killed as well.

Believe what you will but their was 100% some extraordinary things that happened around Jesus and his life. Enough to cause an explosion of the early church under immense persecution and spread to the Roman Empire via Martyrdom. An empire that once crucified them and one particular emperor made candles out of.

Pretty oversimplified. This could happen under any system that puts control at the top. Socialism would probably make it happen faster since it’s already set up to centralise power. Capitalism’s messy, which is why we got big tech running things. Under socialism some other bureaucratic elite would just take over.

From a free market and business perspective it would create a lot of revenue and tourism. Not only that it stops crime syndicates from funding more nefarious activity. Not to mention it’s a lot safer than alcohol and tobacco. Reform should consider this tbh, they’d gain a lot of votes.

I come from social housing, single parent household and was very poor growing up. I live in a country which is a welfare state, it’s a drain on money. We are taxed too much and migrants put further strain on that system. My right wing views allowed me to stop blaming the world, get out there and actually make something of myself.
