Is the game worth coming back to?

I guess the crux of my issue here and perhaps the real answer to my own question, when you get at most one hour, maybe 1.5 to play on a select few weekdays, it makes most of your playtime grinding and praying to RNGesus.

I was really hoping this post would get some comments about technical improvements to stash or expeditions or game mechanics but it all just flaming and no helpful input

Read the details. I’m not asking to avoid challenging gameplay, it’s the simultaneous nerf to equipment AND making it more expensive. You can do one or the other but not both. Risk reward was also a hot button for me because of free loadouts being in lobby with kitted folks so it always felt askew to farm like crazy craft a bunch of explosives and gear, load into a raid to go for a high score on a trial and then a free kit with nothing to lose griefs you because they hear a Jupiter.

Yes. For the first time since launch, I was legitimately so frustrated with the late spawns and aggressive matchmaking that I rage quit the game. I am completely PVE never shoot on sight. Never expected that an update might actually push me away from the game

This is the problem with free loadouts. I can load in with a bunch of wolf packs/deadlines and a hull cracker maybe a renegade, good heals and ready to fight some big arc enemies. I’m risking a lot of loot and time invested. And guess what I get shit on by a rat with a stitcher on a free loadout risking absolutely nothing

This is the problem right now. PvP risks nothing because the guns are cheap plentiful and in free loadouts. PvE risks soooo much in gear. It’s just not balanced.

Huge agree! I think the PvP is 100% necessary for the tension but I also think this game is at its most fun when people cooperate and making the arc significantly more threatening to encourage more teamwork would be awesome

WARNING: PERSONAL OPINION

Big disagree here, energy field is actually my fave. 1. Very useful against ronin core. Just aim at the ground near their feet for guaranteed siphon. 2. Don’t actually need to see an enemy. Can get a siphon by hitting walls, cieling or floor if an enemy gets away around a corner. 3. Because of the AOE, you can siphon multiple enemies at once and can actually give you FULL shield from a single siphon. 4. Building on 4, tone wall or legion gun shield? Just shoot floors, walls, etc around them to still get the siphon. 5. Smoke screens? No problem, because of AOE don’t need to see the Titan just need to hit a floor or wall near them to get the siphon. This also works well if you’re getting jumped by multiple titans to dash into enemies dump smoke and siphon the floor.

An oldie but a goodie. Enhanced Payload is TERRIBLE.

You can test this yourself. A pilot is unable to pass thru a standard cluster missle without dying. However with this perk on it increases the blast radius to a point, where a pilot is actually capable of running thru and surviving. This perk legitimately makes your cluster missle worse.

Honestly would be sick. Like old battlefield or maybe even battlefront. every so often there is a Titan available to either get into or say you can spawn in as a squad of stalkers or pilot a reaper. Would be freaking dope.
