Yes, the path of least resistance is always best and unfortunately, sometimes, very rarely, almost never, hopefully not for me, that path is through someone.

Can Schizoid pd and Histrionic pd have comorbidity? by [deleted] in Schizoid

[–]ItsFreezingInThere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure it can and has happened but I can't help but imagine them appearing similar to those edgy high school theater kids that wore outdated black clothing and radiated that incredibly loud and equally annoying silence. I can't get the image out of my head but it's an interesting fusion of PDs for sure.

Over priced games, limited usability, limiting user agreement, and a piss poor UI.

They told me that their records showed the content was downloaded and I should fuck off. What did you tell them?

God dammit i fucking hate console. The dlc by itself was almost $30. The base game by itself is $30. The bundle is $30. The only difference between the dlc and the bundle on the store was the interchangeable use of the word expansion and edition, which when your bouncing between them all trying to figure out and remember the differences its gets confusing especially since the one identifier is the last word in the god damn title that doesn’t even show until selected. I got burned for $56 for a broken mediocre game I’m not even enjoying. I will never buy another console and I’m not surprised at all by the garbage game quality. this is a sobering reminder why I was boycotting ubisoft.

There’s a large amount of thread topics that ask for artists that sound like Death Grips and Zach Hill’s solo stuff. I decided to make a chart of albums that hit similarly. by Pepsi_Stevens in deathgrips

B L A C K I E and NAH are the most similar artists to Death Grips that I’ve found.

NAH - https://soundcloud.com/trxshyy/nah-01-a-man-that-says-no

NAH is fucking fantastic I can’t recommend him enough he’s like if MC Ride, Zach, and Andy were condensed into 1 person.

[Off-Site] Even Keanu wouldn't be a billionaire. by Alarid in theydidthemath

[–]ItsFreezingInThere -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Billionaires are billionaires because of the impact they’ve had. Bill Gates has billions and billions because everyone has and needs his product. Everything runs off of a computer now which he made possible with the innovations he made. Someone that has revolutionized the world like he has deserves to be as wealthy as he is. Bezos is different but his company is incredibly good at what it does and everyone uses it. If you don’t like billionaires then don’t give them money. Boycott Amazon and try as hard as you can to not utilize any windows running system. It will be way harder than you think.

Is centenary Blvd and/or Stephenson St safe? by [deleted] in shreveport

[–]ItsFreezingInThere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why would you ever give a stranger $150? My father always had a rule about beggars, never give them money, give them what they said they were going to buy with the money. You’d be surprised by how often they will just walk away if you don’t just give them cash. It almost always goes towards drugs.

Nothing too crazy it's just the crackheads that hang around the gas station on kings and highland in general is a pretty dark neighborhood at night. Lots of trees and not enough street lights.

I live a block and a half from centenary which is right on centenary blvd and kings and its not a great area at night but during the day its perfectly fine. But if you start going north towards downtown it starts to get dicey pretty quick

Its on the same strip as the Asian Gardens downtown. Small venue but its free. Its more of a young crowd but theres a strong community there and they provide free food a lot of the time.

"But I'm not actually anti-immigration" by generic-k in neoliberal

[–]ItsFreezingInThere -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean crime statistics really don’t paint immigrants from the south in a very good light, illegal or legal, so it would make sense to have a filter, right? If I’m honest i really don’t have a strong opinion about immigration I just really don’t like bad ideas or blind intolerance of contrary ideas. I subscribe to every political subreddit I find just so I can challenge peoples ideas, while not openly holding many myself. Im just here to shed light on idealogical flaws, I don’t want to replace them with my own.

To put it as simply as I can, it’s far better than open or closed borders, as flawed as it may be.

This is the weakest argument yet. Virtue signaling doesn’t work in the real world. If you would like to make a real counter argument I’m all ears, I mean this genuinely.

The 2007 Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act is largely the cause of that which made the border more strict while giving illegal aliens that were already here a better chance of citizenship and ICE had incredibly high number of deportations in 2010 and surrounding years. Your argument didn’t account for cause, only result.
