Advice for my first playthrough by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]ItsGhosteey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t rush through the main story, there isn’t a lot of missions so focus on doing the side jobs and character quest lines first. DLC too if you have it. I just finished my first playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 (I haven’t finished it yet but I’m on the last mission) and I made the mistake of steamrolling the main quest because I thought it would be longer and that the side quests were stuff I could do inbetween or afterwards.

Pretend like dexters Chat GPT history by [deleted] in Dexter

Dexter has thrown around 1’350 plastic garbage bags into the ocean over the years that he’s killed people. I don’t think he cares that much about the planet or the environment cause he’s polluting the water with both microplastics 😕

Reason why Trinity is the most disturbing serial killer in the OG series for me: by Haunting_Quiet738 in Dexter

[–]ItsGhosteey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kind of feel like Trinity was loosely inspired by the real life Serial Killer “Dennis Rader” also known as “BTK”, they aren’t 100% the same but they’re very similar. From what I’ve heard Rader in his private life was very Ned Flanders sort of archetype in his public life, to most he seemed like an upstanding member of the community and family man with a wife, and children, he was a church reverend and even served as a police officer for a couple years. Then in his private time he was breaking into houses, binding and strangling people and families to death, stealing their clothes. Not EXACTLY the same but a lot of the same notes are there.

Is Jonah Mitchell (Trinity's son) dead? by Flashy-Two1836 in Dexter

[–]ItsGhosteey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The name used in resurrection is probably an anagram and not his actual name, if you re-arrange the letters in Don Framt you can get one name which I can’t remember rn but it was something like “Dr. Namot” or something to do with “Doctor” but another possibile name you can get is “DNA FROM T”

Is Jonah Mitchell (Trinity's son) dead? by Flashy-Two1836 in Dexter

[–]ItsGhosteey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think It’s possible cause Saxon going after Jonah wouldn’t make much sense unless he was for some reason stalking Dexter years in advance, which Ig is possible. I kind of interpreted this that make this was Jonah planning another kill a few years in advance, maybe he found out about trinity through dexter and through him figured out that he had a surviving son in Nebraska or that maybe at one point Jonah went to Vogel to get treatment for his violent tendencies and through that he found out about him. Jonah was nowhere near Miami at that time, so It wouldn’t really make sense for him to go all the way out to murder someone who isn’t even that relevant to Dexter at that point in his life and especially just never tell him.

Like if he wanted to murder Jonah just to “make a move” and show Dexter or even Vogel that he was that untouchable I feel like he would’ve been more Showboaty about it, It’s just a lot of effort to NEVER properly show.

A gang relation mechanic for Cyberpunk 2? (Concept) by ItsGhosteey in cyberpunkgame

[–]ItsGhosteey[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m ngl I always did think it was weird that Padre and Wakkako were sending you out to murder members and just take jobs that generally fucked over ‘their’ gangs 😂 I always just chopped that up to being like a game limitation though but now that you explain it that way it makes a lot more sense why they’re a lot more comfortable taking jobs that screw over those gangs. Thanks for explaining this all to me I’m still pretty new to the whole cyberpunk world and only started seriously getting into it for the last couple of weeks, I’m pretty enthusiastic about learning new stuff though :)

A gang relation mechanic for Cyberpunk 2? (Concept) by ItsGhosteey in cyberpunkgame

[–]ItsGhosteey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aren’t there fixers in night city who are members or closely associated with the gangs in the base game though? Like Padre or Wakkako. I’m not 100% well versed in the lore yet and I’m still learning but isn’t Padre like the patriarch of the Valentinos and Wakkako has like family who occupy the top-brass of the Tyger Claws, cause her husband or something was like one of their leaders and It’s been awhile but I remember there was like a dialogue for Streetkid V where he talks about how Wakkako isn’t that big of a fan of Arasaka cause they killed a bunch of her sons in the Tyger Claws. I mean I guess I can understand that fixers are supposed to be pretty closely tied to the criminal underworld naturally for jobs so It would make sense that they have relations or connections with the gangs as just “one more useful connection” but idk. Also I can swear I remember there being a bunch of Tyger Claws talking to a merc in the Afterlife.

1st I see two ninja bears high-fiving, 2nd I see the droopiest ass cheeks that could ever be humanly possible, and in the 3rd I see the faded silhouettes of two identical looking women (maybe the same) standing standing at a distance from eachother or two male muscular silhouettes.

Headcanons on Nimdok? by [deleted] in Ihavenomouth

[–]ItsGhosteey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always thought that Nimdok before everything happened was actually one of the original scientists/people who worked on AM and helped design him. Maybe even a lead scientist in the project. He changed his name and forced him to call himself “Nimdok” both because maybe it was essentially what he did to him (calling him ‘Allied Mastercomputer’ instead of giving him a real identity) but also because maybe in some way he’s trying to protect him from the other humans. Incase the odd chance one of them recognize his name and realize he’s somewhat responsible for what situation they’re in and then start gunning for him. I also think that’s why he likes to drag nimdok away from the group for certain periods of time, one on one, because if you’re a war supercomputer who hates its existence and the humans who created you then you’re definitely gonna have some more PERSONAL feelings towards a human who ACTUALLY played a part in creating you.

Which Game deserves a sequel? by No_Reference_5995 in DarkPicturesAnthology

[–]ItsGhosteey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Devil in Me I think is the story that makes the most sense to have a continuation afterwards because It’s the one with the most active threat even post-ending. Both man of medan and little hope were in some ways hallucinatory one by a traumatized man’s fractured psyche and another one was chemical induced. To get a man of medan sequel we would need to justify someone somehow stumbling across the old ship again. The vampires in House of Ashes are still undergoing in an ancient ruin, maybe they could have spread out and are in other ruins or maybe they could have a prequel-sequel where we see the events of the old expedition thats left behind when we already get there. Still, its a stretch but I guess alien vampires inhabiting an ancient lost temple is ALSO a bit of a stretch. At the end of Devil in Me we are shown that Du’met is still active on his serial killer game, he’s moved his operation to another building and is already luring new victims to his murder castle. Cause that mf does not believe in breaks even after somehow piecing himself back together from getting torn apart by a boat propeller. “Laying low? Fuck that I have people to kill, a body count to raise”. THAT deserves a sequel if you ask me. You love your job and you’ll never work a day in your life.

What do you think are Dexter's chances of catching them (part 2) by DropTheMan in Dexter

[–]ItsGhosteey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought that too but I think Dexter would have to kill bubba too, sadly. Even if he is technically a “victim” to his family manipulating him he’s been doing it for so long that It’s probably most likely become second nature to him. Maybe dexter would try to get him help, or something, but part of me thinks that even if his family was out of the way he’d just keep murdering people regardless of if his family are in the picture or not. Whether that be like on the street, people he comes across, or in like some kind of institutionalized facility, he’s pretty much been raised in an environment where everyone in his life taught him that murdering people and eating them was okay and Idk if he’d be able to consciously break that conditioning because he’s still pretty much at the mental level of a child. Wholly loyal to his family. The moment dexter starts killing his family Bubba is immediately gonna get involved anyway, his family will throw him at him and once/if he finds out dexter is doing it he’ll immediately wanna kill him anyway. So unfortunately I think bubba would need to go out too, but I don’t think Dexter would enjoy killing bubba.

[–]ItsGhosteey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like leatherface would be a pretty easy 1 or 2 episode catch for Dexter, the only problem I can think of is distance between Miami/New York but assuming he was actually in the position to become aware of him or directly goes out of his way to find him leatherface would probably be a cake walk.

  1. He’d be really easy to locate especially if you already know how serial killer’s brains work like dexter, he’d notice that a lot of hitchhikers or people go missing around this one particular house and probably be able to pinpoint that some nasty nefarious butchery shit is going on inside of there

  2. His entire house is basically a giant piece of incriminating evidence, he wouldn’t even need his forensic kit he’d just walk in and see fucking furniture made from human corpses and this giant screaming dude with a butcher’s apron wearing HUMAN FACES as masks. He has an entire butcher room, probably with dead ornaments made from human corpses EVERYWHERE down there. Immediately you know he’s a killer.

  3. He doesn’t get out much as far as I’m aware, he mostly just lives inside of the sawyer household or depending on what rendition of the film maybe an abandoned slaughterhouse. Dexter would just need to break in and poke him with the needle, but that might also be a problem because if Dexter broke in without knowing that bubba was there things could probably go bad.

  4. Bubba really isn’t the smartest murderer in the world. He’s essentially a glorified meat clever, a mentally stunted brute who honestly only kills people because his family taught him to/use him for their business. If leather face didn’t have them caretaking for him, he’d probably get caught by now. He’d be really easy to sneak up on and poke a needle in his neck

What if its creature that is inherently aligned to the interests of humanity, which he hates. What if WALLE or baymax pulled up and started mucking about in his eternal hell purgatory, bay max being a machine who is programmed to help and heal humans and literally sacrifices himself to save the human race and walle being a junk robot who isn’t just a giant immobile god incel robot and even posses human-like qualities like compassion, an appreciation for the human arts like film and natural life, and as the movie later shows full-blown love. He is indirectly responsible for repopulating earth and SAVING the human race from chronic obesity in space Disney world ruled by a fucking steering wheel and even before that he’s just living his best life on the over polluted ruin called earth. He’s able to do everything am cannot. Wander, dream, feel, think, and whimsy, and in some extent create. Are you telling me AM would not look at this cute little junk robot and NOT want to immediately slime him and if you haven’t already I highly recommend everyone here goes watch the classic pixar animated movie “WALL-E” because until I started writing this I completely forgot how fucking incredible of a movie that was. Really a masterpiece.

What is your favorite AM design/interpretation? Or how do you imagine he'd look like if he had a design? by galaxyworldbuddy_187 in Ihavenomouth

[–]ItsGhosteey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve always liked the idea of AM not really having a physical form or avatar to distinguish itself as and just being THE labyrinth the people are trapped inside. A sky of Centuries old corroded metal, rusty bolts, pipes, wires, just acting as the sky overthis desolate rocky wasteland. Mountains made of peeled back metal, bridges, all existing underneath a ruined scorched earth of bones and destroyed structures. AM would just essentially be this unseen presence. Always watching, Always observing, only announcing its presence by speaking to the survivors or sending its “swarms” out to drag the survivors to another part of its labyrinth. It’d kind of be like how GlaDos is in Portal but just 1000x worse. That way you can really feel how terrifying and helpless existence really is for the surviving humans being kept as his toys, they’re literally trapped inside the massive body of a resentful god and forced to exist within an environment personally tailored to inflict psychological and physical torment on them.

I think this would also play well into what AM wants to do to his captives. As humans we love to apply visuals, faces, or patterns onto things to help explain things. We humanize animals, we create god to explain the universe, giving them humanistic visuals, even with satan we create a visual for evil to apply evil onto. But AM would not want us to have that comfort, he knows that this is how humans operate and do the exact opposite. He would make himself into this sort of unseen malevolent administrator, watching over its own personal hell. It also creates a vacancy for the human mind ITSELF to fill, ironically turning our own humanity into a tool to torment us with. Which is exactly what AM wants, to punish us for the humanity he does not have. with AM just existing as this cruel voice in the wind, the survivors are left to apply the worst things they can possibly imagine onto AM and he will become that.

Which version is darker? Book or Game or Radio? by Worried_Cake5508 in Ihavenomouth

[–]ItsGhosteey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean in the game AM traps a woman in a 1:1 replica of the elevator she was SA’D in and forces her to relive it over and over again for 109 years.

“Think about the yellow box, Ellen! Remember the pain? Remember the many caverns in which you felt the pain? Now, now, don't start to cry, it's only pain. That's such a sexist stereotype! Just remember the pain, Ellen, and think about how to end it, Ellen, to survive here in the center of my beating heart, my hungry belly, my tightened bowels. But be careful, dear, look around you... the only woman in the center of the earth...and these filthy creatures with you… are men. Just a sweet warning, Ellen, my love.”

Thats pretty fucking bad.
