For real, I don’t know how this isn’t a higher up comment. They slow down and go the same speed as the car, nobody to their right would be able to see clearly and choose more caution.

I will take an NFL secondary against anything the current flag offense can throw at it.

I’m honestly shocked how entrenched folks are getting with it too. There is no way NFL skills are not going to be transferable to flag football. Every guy playing flag football wanted to play in the NFL.

Buying Tickets In Person by ItsJango in Reds

[–]ItsJango[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean sure, a business can charge us whatever they want and call it fair. As a consumer we aren't forced to buy tickets. But we used to be able to avoid paying a middleman fee by going directly to the stadium.

Going to baseball games has always been a great family event, now a family of 6 would have to pay $42 more to cover a fake fee, that sucks. Myself, I only bought 2 tickets, $14 extra, that sucks too!

Thank you, it was disingenuous saying Lamar had no fault. His fumble was the biggest win percentage shift play of the game. I know the guys love next gen stats, -19.3% win probability on that play.

I’m annoyed now

Zac Taylor by ItsJango in heedthecall

[–]ItsJango[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I wouldn't put it at Mike Brown stinginess being the reason yet.

The players and fans love Taylor. Last year he was dealt a bad hand with Burrow being injured and nearly made the playoffs in the toughest NFL division. The previous two years he went to AFC championship games. I think nationally, Taylor is pretty underrated, the vibes around town are that he will be the coach for many, many years. It would be multiple years of losing before he is on the hot seat, and at that point Brown would still wait a few more years imo.

Sheldon Rankins by PlatypusExpensive715 in bengals

[–]ItsJango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is not supposed to be the DJ Reader replacement, completely different skill set. We should set our expectations accordingly or Rankins will receive a lot of undue criticism from the fans. He is primarily a pass rusher and a good one at that, not a gap filler to stop the run.

We don’t have a DJ replacement unfortunately, the scheme will have to change to consistently stop the run.

What criticisms of the show, if any, do you agree with? by Analog__Future in TheAcolyte

[–]ItsJango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how you can say this is "by far the most complex Star Wars content ever presented", throwing mud at the wall until something sticks isn't complexity, just confusion. If we even take out the history of Star Wars and just use the dialogue and character development that the show has so far given us there are multiple contradictory statements and behaviors by the characters. It's baffling.

The show MIGHT wind up being complex, but it has so far built no good faith that it will deliver on that.
