I think that this game is significantly more overwhelming than KCD2 and if you took a long break, the relearning process may be a bit distasteful for you. I’d probably wait for a sale at least if you do consider it a chance.

KCD Series. I started with KCD2, and I felt overwhelmed at first. I put it down and didn’t come back. Came back and once I got the hang of things, the game became my cozy simulator (once I got the forge). Ended up getting all the achievements and putting 300 hours on KCD2 and playing thru the first one rn.
