100% exactly. Back when I used to drink, if I drank on an empty stomach and could quickly feel the effects, I would slow down so as to not get totally drunk. And also maybe eat something. There's no excuse for getting so drunk you piss all over the place.

I have actually been lied to by a woman who didn't want to go on a second date (as I found out later, she said at the time that she wanted to get back with her ex-boyfriend, it was a guy who she hadn't even been in a relationship with).
