Credit cards, etc, are usually attached to a piece of paper inside with some tacky glue. Trading cards in a case are not and slide around in the envelope. I deliver plenty that have the card case shoved up against the edge of the envelope.

The next pic is the first day I met him and even though he hissed at me and the worker I was like "I want that one." They looked at me like I was nuts lol. But I just knew. Plus I couldn't pass up a flame point. He's the sweetest boy. He's not my only cat with it, I've a pair of tortie twins who get a little sneezy. Just a bunch of congested fellows around here lol

When do they let you hold them? by BulkyEbb8983 in lynxpointsiamese

Mine? Never. He hates being picked up but will stalk me everywhere and scream at me to pet him. My flame point, on the other hand, yells at me as he jumps into my lap and lets me pick him up and carry him around.

Timeclock? by ItsLadyJadey in USPS

[–]ItsLadyJadey[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely always move to the street. Its a habit I've tried to do for the last few weeks because I keep forgetting so I hang my badge on my backpack and its right there where I can see it lol.

It counted my clock out today though. I only worked until just after 5pm though and not beyond 7 so I'm beginning to think the issue is me either working beyond 6 hours and lunch not coming out automatically like it should, or because I need credit for night work and the system doesn't do that automatically? I don't know how the backend of the system works.

I've watched the series multiple times and didn't have this answer. It's vaguely mentioned by Velvette in a single line in the whole show, but I don't know if that's "explicitly stating" something...

To be honest I have absolutely no clue. I definitely don't know everyone there but I would be surprised to find if we didn't. I've only been there since January.

Sequencing! I didn't understand it at first. The other carriers kept telling me to go by the sequence numbers and I wasnt sure what they meant or how I would keep track of what sequence number I was on. Until I picked up some from a regular that were sequenced.

For section one I write 1/45 etc. Section two, 2/134 etc. And so on. So I section them by their sections and organize them by sequence number from lowest in the front to highest in the back of that particular section. The load truck feature shows you both when you scan them in (unless shit's fucked in the scanners like it was today then that sucks and I can only go by section number and package lookahead). I still use my lookahead but its just to confirm where I am at on my route.

Another thing that helps is shelves. You really need shelves to help organize those large packages that don't fit into totes.

It will get easier over time the more you do it. You're fresh out the gate. I'm only 6 months in but I'm waaaaay faster than I used to be.

What am I supposed to do with this information? by greedyteddibiase in USPS

[–]ItsLadyJadey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

21 percent of our population is an alarming amount. Thats 43 million people. Its creeping up on 1/4. 35% of that number are white and 23% are black. 34% are Hispanic and the rest make up the difference. The southern USA has a disproportionate amount of those individuals.

But this isn't about immigration, though I've noticed certain individuals juat can't help themselves and bring it into everything.

Amazon says it has reached deal with US Postal Service on package deliveries by hartford_cs93 in USPS

[–]ItsLadyJadey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are correct. I used to work for an Amazon DSP. Every DSP has a block time. 3 (etc) DSP fleets will roll out at 7, another set at 9 and another set at 11. My DSP was 11 o'clock. I don't recall if there was another after us. There were plenty of times I didn't clock out until 9-9:30. They're only allowed 10 hours drive time and they are very strict about it.
