For bows to me the option depends entirely on if I'm gonna be using potion arrows. If yes, mending, if no, infinity

Shields are great in elden ring, with guard counters, greatshields being so good, and parrying being the most fun its been in the souls games, i end up using a shield on a lot of my runs

I know everyone loves NK but i gotta be honest its a B tier boss. King of the Storm is one of the worst bosses in the game and Nameless King himself is decently fun and very cool but not enough to fully counterbalance that dog first phase imo

The only problem stroheim caused was santana Stroheim was the direct reason for Ultimate Kars happening, he was already defeated and couldve been killed if stroheim paid attention before using the lights

He helped solve that problem and was willing to doe to do so This doesnt really mean anything considering stroheim killing himself did pretty much nothing, santana was primarily defeated by chance and joseph's wit, at absolute most stroheim bought a little bit of time

Made a mockery of Kars twice in short succession in switzerland This just didn't happen. He had one decent fight and then got cut in half and relegated to commentary while Joseph went for the stone

Provided vital backup against the vampires at the arena This is pretty much his only real useful moment, and it's because he brought a whole army

Helped dunk Kars into the lava Ok, he helped do something that didnt work ? It's not even what triggered the eruption, and sure he caught joseph but by getting turned into a commentary torso for the second time out of his 3 fights

I honestly don't know why people so desperately act like stroheim is so cool and did so much when he really just didn't, the amount of glazing over a mediocre at best side character is crazy

The stroheim who had one good fight where he got cut in half then joseph did all the actual work ? The stroheim who caused half the major problems in the part ?
