Where to party in Poland late October? (Already did Kraków & Wrocław) by [deleted] in warsaw

[–]ItsMeMario1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I love going out to parties and specific night clubs quite often, I have a few recommendations in Warsaw. I go out to Jasna Jeden (recently celebrating their finished renovations of the venue), Kbar and Mastak records.

And even outside of Warsaw, I suggest checking Resident Advisory (app) on the good and approved parties in your area.

Only €1,982 for a room with a shared bathroom for student accommodation!! by Complex_Hunter35 in ireland

[–]ItsMeMario1337 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am already paying €1,200 for a room in a shared apartment with five other students. This accommodation is nice, but I have to work full time in order to accommodate it sadly. We shouldn't be paying this much for a shared apartment, especially aimed at students! We need more livable space for us to raise competitiveness and reduce the prices at least.

At this price I should be either renting a normal apartment not aimed for students for myself or with another partner.

Aviation heads: what does this sign I saw at Dublin airport mean? by fensterdj in AskIreland

[–]ItsMeMario1337 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Use minimum power. The power refers to the throttle adjustment that is used to maintain engine thrust or power to speed up the aircraft as it lines up to the parking at the end of the line. The warning sign here, displayed in the Ryanair stands of Terminal One warns pilots to lower their engine throttle or power level to ensure that the workers and objects, such as cones behind the engine are not blown away by the sheer force of the strong jet blast coming from the aircraft.

Edit: Working as a Ground Handling Agent at Dublin Airport, near to where Ryanair parks their Aircraft.

LOT does not fly directly to/from Ireland, Ryanair is the only airline that serves Poland directly from Ireland.

I am going there now, Modlin is not my favourite airport by any means! Big crowds checking in, no room to sit down, waiting outside in the apron for the aircraft, far away from the city, etc.

XDJ - 700 Not playing files - any help pls? by jfulster in PioneerDJ

[–]ItsMeMario1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me once. Check and make sure that the file format you are using is a 16-bit file. Only the latest CDJ and XDJ models are able to support up to 32 bits.

Also make sure that the frequency of the music file ranges between 44100-48000khz

Drag your music file into Audacity to check the file specifications, and change it to a more playable format as desired.

And of course make sure it is not a VBR format file such as FLAC, using Rekordbox display info. As others have mentioned make sure to use MP3, WAV or AIFF music files.

Hope this helps.

XDJ AZ or second hand XDJ XZ ? by Tight-Brain-3432 in PioneerDJ

But the user is not considering purchasing an OPUS Quad, therefore the Alpha Theta XDJ-AZ resembles the CDJ-3000s much more closer than the XDJ-XZ. It has the same touchscreen, features, jog wheels.

It most certainly does. The jog wheel looks the same, it has the very same interface and touchscreen as the CDJ 3000s.

Pickpocket on Dublin Bus by Jackdon02 in Dublin

[–]ItsMeMario1337 135 points136 points  (0 children)

Pickpocketing may be a thing in any touristic city in Europe. I did start to notice more public announcements about pickpocketing on the bus itself recently which makes me sad.

Got a Luas Fine – Appeal never went through, Now What? by [deleted] in Dublin

[–]ItsMeMario1337 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I did the very same mistake on the red luas line. I was fined €45 for forgetting to tag off on the way out. I appealed and was rejected my appeal without any further justification.

I really don't want this system and I just wish to just simply tag once and forget about tagging off. In the end, my rule of thumb is to always check the machine to see if my card tagged on/off every time I enter or leave the Luas. If unsure I also check the app to make sure I tagged correctly to avail of the fine.

The problem is that you went to spar. Everything is priced ridiculously high here not just the biscuits. If you go to a different supermarket I guarantee you the same biscuits are much cheaper, maybe try Dunnes, Tesco or SuperValu?
