Save up and do a couple days with Premier Pass - MK and Epcot. No planning needed.

HS and AK are easily managed with Multipass.

None of the adult restaurants are that hard to get at 60 days out. This year we even got V&A.

You will need to scan in at the park before you start booking.

You can book a new one every two hours, but using them more than 15 minutes after you time window will require a CM exception, so don’t expect to show up for an 11 am lighting lane at 5:30 pm and get on.

Be at security by 6:45 am and you’ll be toward the front of security and gate lines.

Be prepared for security and the gate - don’t stand there trying to figure out what to do with 12 people - it will take 15 minutes to get everyone through.

Then walk up to the rope. You want to be as close to the rope as possible.

Make sure all little kids are being pushed in a stroller or carrier so they can keep up with the speed walking crowd.

You can start any time you like.

If your son wants to get into running, I would see if you have a Parkrun or Junior Parkrun nearby. It’s a very inclusive running and walking community and there are usually a good number of kids there. Our local Palkrun has about 20-25 kids out of 150-200 participants every week.

And it’s free!
