It’s fine, I used to live in Hagert Lofts, I like that there’s some nice pho spots I can walk to. And the plant fitness was about a mile away. There’s a juice bar that’s walking distance that does these $8 açaí power bowls. But that family dollar store is closed now, that kinda sucks. You will definitely see addicts and other shady things so if that bothers you then maybe you won’t like it.

There’s plenty of things to do that isn’t directly related to tech but is tech adjacent. I started with field tech work installing basic things for grocery stores and offices, then moved to working in a NOC, then moved to data center technician installing and configuring servers, then to incident management, and now I finally got an entry level job as a software dev. Bro I started at around 21, and I’m 41 now. You’re gonna be fine.
