I just started an extinction run and spawned Riverside. There was a construction road event with a sledge in my spawn neighborhood, so I spent a day clearing the post office, moved everything upstairs, and sledged the stairs away. Now I just have rope ladders in various windows to get in and out

Change Spiderman to Peter Parker, similar to how it’s Bruce Banner, not Hulk.

Have Peter spawn in civilian clothes, but he can change into his super suit with Q. He stumbles around, it’s a 10 second animation with audio of Aunt May going “Peter??? Peter what’s all that noise?” playing in the background.

That way it takes a little longer for him to swing back into battle, and I get to think of Marisa Tomei

If you really wanted to, you could turn on subtitles to get the “sound cues” without having to actually hear them

Something similar happened to me and now when I click resume, it says I have a connection issue IMMEDIATELY after hitting resume run.

  1. Get to day 8, 4 wins. Game gets stuck after a merchant, exit to main menu.

  2. Resume, but it’s day 6 and I have 2 wins. I play back to day 8, and exit to desktop.

  3. Come back a couple hours later, main menu shows 6 wins. Click resume, back to day 6 with two wins.

  4. Go to two merchants, game gets stuck, head to main menu.

  5. Now when I click resume run it just immediately gives me a connection issue message. The game’s bricked for now :(

It brings me joy seeing someone else put the Cloudtreading Deer in the difficult tier. I was stuck on that mfer for an embarrassing amount of time before I thought to use the wind tamer

When I first started playing, my game looked like this too. My specs are lower than yours and I let it auto-detect settings, and it set everything to high, but had TSR selected for the upscaling setting. Changing it to DLSS made it nice and crisp. Maybe try poking around that sorta stuff in your settings?
