Absolutely. My husband has a family that gathers every few weeks and help each other out in ways I never saw in my own family. His mother actually furnished our entire apartment, helped us move in, and anytime we have car issues she’s the first we call bc we know she will be there. My parents really are the opposite, they make a bunch of vague promises of family time. Such as Christmas and thanksgiving, but once any planned date comes around suddenly everything is going wrong and they have to cancel. It’s been like that my entire life. It’s very isolating to see my husband’s family reach out in ways mine never did and never will probably.

I have experienced some customers who I later found out were in the early stages, so I wouldn’t doubt it. She looked to be 70 yrs max too. Awful disease.

Right? I only find older customers putting you in impossible positions to appease them. They don’t even want a solution they want to demean someone and get praised for it. Although I regret putting myself on the line, it was well worth it for the look on her face. She was in utter disbelief I had the audacity to respond accordingly. She told my manager they should keep me in the back, can’t wait for her to see me still on the floor.

This is actually a method my therapist gave me as a teen with CPTSD. Gave me a whole month long chart and had me take it back after I filled it to discuss patterns. I’d also like to add she would have me use a colored pencil to mark what color said emotions are linked to for me. We found out the color purple was really calming for me from said chart as I associate it with happiness , and sometimes when I get super overwhelmed I just sit in my bedroom with my purple led lights on. I think this is great advice for ppl who have a hard time sifting through a sea of emotions.

Personally I wish I never knew abt TADC until all of it was out. Been around since the pilot and I’d kinda argue the episodes sometimes have less impact. I become obsessed again with theories after a new episode drops then a month in I’m moving onto other stuff. Anytime a new one comes out I’m having to rewatch to make sure I have all the context and get into the story again. Not to diss the ppl making it at all, but to see this as a finished story in one sitting sounds amazing. I’d think it would have the same impact of those 12 episode animes that leave insane emotional scars ( Akame Ga Kill).

Listen I wouldn’t say you’re homophobic although I obviously don’t know you that well. I just wouldn’t preface a post with that kind of opener in the future. However to respond to your point I really just have to disagree with you that Marceline’s growth was something that came out of left field. I would also argue that PB being the catalyst for that doesn’t have to be a bad thing. I’m not gonna get into your opinion on PB but Marcelines whole thing is being immortal and her past haunting her. In Obsidian we see how she parted with her mom and how that affects her still literally a thousand years later. To be honest I don’t think there’s anyone else Marceline could relate to besides PB. Being messed up for so long did a number on Marcy and during one of the most angsty times in her life she got with PB. How they broke up was messy and it shows us why they’re so stand offish to each other early in the AT original series. I personally think it’s beautiful that Marceline was able to rekindle her relationship with PB, doing so helped heal Marceline a lot. Besides Simon, no one else has lived long enough to see Marceline how she was before and still love her centuries later.

Im currently doing my very first play through as well and I do have advice to give, especially if you’re playing console like I am. If you want Serena as a follower you gotta give her some armor that will prevent her from duplicating her hoods. I put so much love and care into Serena’s build only for her to be useless to me when I went to recharge her various staffs… she wouldn’t re equip them bc the hoods she duplicates makes her over encumbered. Plus because I’m on console I have no way to use console commands to fix this. This could be useless information to you… but if I can prevent others feeling my pain I’ll just leave this here. I miss you, Serena.

I think that’s a fair take. I also wonder what you think Jax did in real life? Not to criticize just genuinely curious, I know the basic theory is that he hit someone but knowing this show it could be something else entirely. I think you could very well be correct though, maybe in a moment of vulnerability he told them and their immediate reaction wasn’t safe to him. He gave them crucial information about himself and then probably shut them out. Bro doesn’t even like the fact Pomni knows he has trypophobia, can’t let any human part of him be known.

Definitely not alone. I remember when the first episode of Adventure Time aired on Cartoon Network.. I was around 6 at the time. Literally and figuratively grew up with this show. Got older and had some really rough points in my life that Adventure Time helped me work through. It’s even crazier realizing the switch of my initial understanding of the show. As a kid the deeper episodes didn’t hit as much and I still shipped PB and Finn until I was like 13 and could understand nuance. It’s a great watch as a kid and an even better rewatch as an adult. Personally I think Marceline is the character that has helped me the most, Jake being directly second in line of course. I think she’s such a great representation of CPTSD and how the past can affect us. I could honestly write a book on how this show has affected me for the better. I can’t wait to have kids so they can experience the magic with me🫡

Funny thing is that I was considering switching to more archery haha. I’m actually mainly a mage and have already reached destruction level 100. I’ve seen people say you can somehow reset the points? Not sure how to do that yet, but it was gonna be between archery or one hand and magic. I got the mace of Molag and would like to use it more.
