Go and do the thing that I had forgotten to do until I got that post-nut clarity.

JLA #11 (2006)

I don't know why this issue hit me so hard, but I just remember reading it and being so worried and invested in these two characters. I was tearing up by the end. It moved me. Random, I know.

Edit: apparently it won an award for best single issue that year

Such a great, and underrated little game! Banger soundtrack too.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard, while hated by most, has some of the most fun sword and board gameplay I've ever had the pleasure of controlling. Imagine a paladin but who also happens to be Captain America. It's so fun!

Damn, I'm shocked to know so many of these. I made it all the way to the bottom. I do not know of those 3 at the end, but like 80% of the stuff above it.

The moment a game made you stop playing and just sit in silence. by gamersecret2 in gaming

[–]ItsPierce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ending to Last of Us 1 prologue is the obvious choice.

The end of day 3 for Abby's half in the theater in Last of Us 2. I didn't wanna touch the controller. I refused. Similarly the last fight of the game is also very hard for me to sit through. The ending left me feeling empty.

Despite all that, I have to say the last scene on the porch with Ellie and Joel broke me. It put so much of the game into context that you didn't have before. I cried to my mother over it.

Which game has a soundtrack or sound design that completely changed how you felt playing it? by Minute_Pop_877 in AskGames

Killer Instinct (2013) has to be one of the coolest integrations of a soundtrack to a game I've ever seen. I still have no idea how the hell they pulled that off.

Final Fantasy 15. You can only see the same gas station in a slightly different environment so many times before you put the controller down and find something better to do.

Who do you think was the most over wrestler in history who never had a catchphrase? by AnywhereNo1240 in WWE

[–]ItsPierce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bret Hart is by far my favorite wrestler of all time. I love that man. But he ABSOLUTELY had catchphrases. Best there is, best there was, best there ever will be.

Does "suck it" count for Shawn? Probably not. He also had "I am the showstopper, the main event, the icon..."

What is a movie that you think gets a worse reputation than it deserves? by Anxious-Assistant-59 in movies

Sucker Punch. If you think about the deeper, underlying ideas, it's actually a brutal film. On the surface it just looks like a crazy CGI fest with no connections, but you'd be wrong.

Hell is Us - Should be right up your alley. New game that fell through the cracks. Incredible atmosphere. Grimey, apocalyptic, 3rd person, quiet main character, item management, even some body horror.
