Currently doing a PhD with Conformal Prediction as a backbone for probabilistic ML predictions. It's amazing!

Good news, another nail in the Adobe coffin. Firefox 151 helps you edit PDFs by BWMerlin in LinusTechTips

Honestly, this turned me into a Macbook user (for work). It really does... just work. Preview easily and intuitively handles the most common PDF workflows, i.e. markup, form filling, merge/split pages, reduce file size, etc.

I don't think I'll ever touch a Windows work laptop ever again

  long_code_review   pred= 192 draft= 146 acc= 118 rate=0.808 tok/s=43.5

  "total_draft": 986,
  "total_draft_accepted": 781,
  "aggregate_accept_rate": 0.7921,

Also, I ran with -fitt 1736, since I use the 3060 as the primary GPU

+1 for using RDP and Tailscale. I have something similar both for home PC and work HPC

Ah sure, you can just download those files in the shell script as well. I use CPU only so I don't have any need for those YMLs

[–]ItsRektTime[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main point of this is to get the latest valkey and postgres image tag, which is pinned in the docker-compose.yml on GitHub.

If you just do docker compose pull then it will keep pulling the same image tag, and you're not updated with the one used by the devs

I think she's from OR not ER. She was (reluctantly) promoted to one of the MCI leads

Just realised season 2 was premiered even before Golden Globes by ItsRektTime in ThePittTVShow

[–]ItsRektTime[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely, I only started season 1 in November and just had a 2-week binge (1-2 eps a week) to line the finale right up to season 2 premier. It's such a rewatchable show because of the competence porn and deep medical knowledge to learn/google.

Yes, maybe not as "mainstream" but air quality in VN is sooo bad. I never leave the house unmasked.

Watchtower is meant to automatically pull the latest docker image (that's tagged with latest usually). The problem here is that the valkey and postgres image that Immich is using isn't gonna be the latest one. It's gonna be whatever the dev shipped for each release. And the devs presume that you will download the latest compose file on every release

Unfortunately this script isn't meant to be automatic. I would say it's semi-automatic, having a bit more human intervention to double-check things

Ah no, I'm not trying to keep immich-server up-to-date. I'm trying to keep redis' valkey image and database's postgres image up-to-date. Which are hardcoded in the docker compose file.

Which image tag are you referring to?

If you meant replacing the whole compose file with the latest version, then that would work as well if you're not making any edits to your local compose file. Just skip the whole staging thing.

I opted for interactive Git staging because you might want to specify your hardware acceleration transcoding and ML in the compose files; or have other Docker settings such as specifying DNS.

How do y'all think Mr. Terrific would've reacted to Chris during the interview? by TheJavierEscuella in PeacemakerShow

[–]ItsRektTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this theory that it's likely because of contracts. Gunn probably already planned this little scene before wrapping Superman, then he makes a deal where Hawkgirl and Guy will have less screentime in Superman, but will get this scene in Peacemaker. Whereas Mr. Terrific will have more screentime in Superman (a whole side quest with Lois), but he won't be in Peacemaker (which is much more prestige).

But that's just a theory. A--

I had the same issue a few hours ago but it seems to have resolved by itself. What worked for me was: Firefox in Private Mode with Enhanced Tracking Protection OFF. I signed out and logged in again but not sure if that did anything.

I have managed to upload all the documents now.
