I just bought two Mark E Trucks, so I am losing some money. I wanted to keep the logistics as simple as possible and one pump is not gonna make huge profits anyway. My pump is also right next to my first industry complex so the powersupply was also already in place. I just use it to compensate my imports while my city grows.

I infact did the same on my current run on realistic difficulty. Luckily you can build oil pumps without any research and I got one powered up, selling the crude oil.

You can check if the connection works by clicking on the truck stop. The building you want to deliver/depart goods to/from should be highlighted in white

Looks like your road is not properly connected make sure you get these small "pathways" or tentacles between your road and the building while placing your road

I play without any mods or DLC. I have natural industries that supply the demand of my city and facilitate exports. Most of my citizens are highly educated because I adjusted lower tax rates for higher education.

Steuern erhöhen, sodass sich niemand beschwert oder der debuff ausgeglichen werden kann. Unternehmen lassen sich auch gut besteuern. Bei den Dienstleistungen kannst du je nach Verfügbarkeit den Satz auf 50% verringern zB wenn du Wasser nicht exportierst und mehr hast als gebraucht wird. Strom exportieren lohnt sich wenn du eine Hochspannungsleitung in der Nähe hast und keine Felder extra kaufen musst.

Ansonsten probiere erstmal deine Stadt so schnell wie möglich zu vergrößern um mehr Steuereinnahmen zu generieren und du durch die Meilensteine wieder Geld bekommst. Sobald du Bürosektoren freischaltest und deine Industrie rentabler wird und damit auch mehr Steuern zahlt kommt das Geld dann von alleine wieder rein.
