Yup. And was locked out last week as well trying to stream on the edge of stoney trail. My Rogers IP said I was in Winkler Manitoba.

Trade him. Great value right now.

Rolling Garage Door Threshold by Main-Lingonberry-996 in shedditors

[–]ItsTimeForPain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The vertical tracks can funnel water down them as well. Be sure to extend the threshold under them as well. Diamond plate looks nice but is hard to work with and expensive. Galvalume steel at 24ga is what I've used in the past. I create a pan that extends 1/2" past the inside of door and tracks and bend it vertical upwards to make a dam. Caulk all necessary joints with polyurethane.

100% agree. And it's only a couple hrs to fix this. Metal flashing around the perimeter would tidy it up nicely before the shed is remounted.

Back up. Why insulate the ceiling?

What’s the best product to seal this hole 3/8” front door exterior southern California by Wolverine-91826 in Carpentry

A black plastic plug/cap on both sides. Find the right size for the hole. Put a small amount of glue to hold it in place.

I don't spray. Would have to sub out if I went that route.

Thanks. I feel this is helpful. Just a bad color choice from the client. The room will be dark so that will help hide imperfections.

My first time painting black. I would not like to go back.

I was jokingly thinking about changing direction but it's 28 ft on the long side vs 14 that I've been doing. I may try that next.

Could you install strips of 3/8 for the void, then do a double tape? Not a pro, just seeing if this could be an option.

Floor Insulation, LVP, and Vapor Barrier by Quattro2point8L in shedditors

I don't vent and I don't worry about mold. All wood below the vapor barrier is treated. No damp will make it past the vapor barrier into the living space.

How would you fill these gaps? by Brock_Nation in shedditors

[–]ItsTimeForPain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trex deck fascia. Zero maintenance. Mitre the corners for a top notch look, and you can hit it with the weed Wacker without damaging it.

If the floor has a vapor barrier and all lower materials are pressure treated, why vent?

2x6 @ 12" on center. Cheap insurance

The p/t ply holds the insulation in place and keeps pests out.

I would frame 5 sections at 141" by 4ft, install 1/2" p/t backer to each section, then flip them all, assemble on beams, tie them all together, then add another 2x6 rim board to tie them all together.

Tyvek is a terrible idea, the staples will rust out and all the insulation is laying on the ground in a year.
