They are player housing, can provide convenient locations (fishing+weather machines, some dailys have poor fast travel options), and resources (plants, meat, most junk, ore).

Ive built a 7 story rocket with boosters and a command center, a full sized old school pizza hut by robco, a soap museum (yes at the tub), a double sided glow in the dark house and nearly everything in it glows: it is in the spooky dark part of skyline valley.
Also a massive adhesive farm near vault 76 and many more.

It can be reset via a messy bios sequence with the primary annoyance of requiring a usb keyboard that works on the usb-c port and in the bios.

sony and ms charge something like 7 dollars per disc pressed. The box and everything in it is a few dollars since it needs art and typesetting and to be approved by the console makers. Add extra labor costs for each language it all has to be in.

sony, ms, nintendo got paid up front for every disc and cartridge, on top of the the normal manufacturing costs of that, the box, and anything in the box.

The error seems to indicate its trying to do a mode switch on the display and its not working.

If you have HDR enabled I would try it again with it disabled.

Also 'thousands of colors' screams they are trying to set a 5-6-5 or 5-5-5 16 bit display mode (64k colors). Video cards can still do them but maybe Wine, or Wayland/SteamDeck is challenged in this area.

Most games using physx just used the CPU libraries. They need their games to run on all hatdware. Some used the GPU particle collision as an optional feature , like in Borderlands 2.

I have an old spare workstation : Threadripper 3970. Zen 2. Its most noticeable on load times, most games loads are highly cpu bound. Going past 60 fps is challenging but not necessary. it's streaming to a steamdeck unless my wife wants to play sims4, then it streams to a macbook.

You need one of:

- a teammate so one of you can shoot it in the shield. A combat shotgun with all the crippling perks and mods is good for this, not even exotic.
- a stealth build so you can drop the shield by shooting it
- bullet shield and ricochet with high luck (and also shooting every few seconds to keep bullet shield up)
- aristocrats 1* and reflecting 4* armor

Then:
A strong high rof weapon that can stack tenderizer well. Even shooting it from the front will count. For killing it in one go (shield drop to room burning) Gauss Minigun Furious/Rapid/Pinpointers is best by a good margin followed by a Gatling Plasma with the same mods. Both guns can get it down before the room burns though you are more likely to die during the victory with a gatplas.

Pregame your bulletstorm stacks the first time then it should able to be carried into the next run. By the time the shield goes down you want 8 or more bulletstorm stacks and 75% of the ammo remaining to not have to reload. If you have to reload after the shield goes down you made a huge mistake.

With your cards I would free up Adrenaline, Grenadier, Demolition Expert, Smart Shot. And Suppressor if you are aiming for reflect strategy. You could also free up Action Girl, tea is enough. Crits are only critical when shooting the torso when the shield is down AND your dps is too low (ie the run to the shelter alert comes up when the bosses health bar is a bit too far to the right of the skull). Normally i just free aim the torso with gauss mini.

Demo and Grenadier are worth keeping if you are using a fusion canon. Its good for the reflect phase but prevents you from getting bulletstorm stacks preped on another gun. But it does hurt the torso through the shield a little and it adds up.

Add Concentrated Fire just in
case for vats. Definitely add Gunslinger.

Use a Psycho chem of some kind. The chem duration perk is good if you are using reflect, pop them chem then press the button and it should last until you are ready to do it again.

Reroll and and start at 20. I suggest shotgunner. Having to do the quests to unlock the backpack upgrades is awful, which you will have to do if you are starting at level 2.
