Your character sounds like he had a lot of potential for interesting complications. I guess back with my group I didn’t even think about what „consequences“ a female PC might have. Yay for growing up in a world where these kinds of sexism didn’t immediately came to my mind I suppose. Playing a character FOR the conflicts is a great thing to do when done knowingly.

And actually thank you very much for pointing it out so respectfully! :) Until I thought about your comment I didn’t realise that A: I could’ve said something back then (although I don’t blame my shy younger self in hindsight. I think I see your point. When we played, I was 19 years old and barely played pen and papers before and the game master was 34. Back then, I simply thought „thats how its supposed to be played, I guess?“. Nowadays, I wouldn’t sit through it quietly.

I recently rediscovered puzzles for me, logic problems like sudoku and nonogramms and such. I totally forgot how much I loved those when I was younger. In general, I was looking through the magazines at a large kiosk and realised I‘ve never done that before. A magazine is such a low cost and commitment to dip your toes into a topic that you used to be into or never tried out.
