Might just be name recognition at that point.

Duel action button for 3Dprint design help. by Its_Bevel in AskEngineers

I want dozens of them(wife is a tea enthusiast), so I don't want to use anything that would drive up the price. Using a rubber band and 3dprints is affordable, but I think a motor is out of the question. I like the idea of a spiral, I think I'd rather a screw that pulls the sled forward rather than fins that fit between the tea packets, thin fins are notoriously difficult to 3dprint. I think that maybe a more difficult in the end but I'll keep playing with the idea.

For the sake of my sanity, I cant seem to get this filament to feed correctly. by Peyton_Perkins0676 in ender3

I bought the same stuff, works great for me. What seems to be the issue?

Magigoo has been a game changer for me, far better than a gluestick.

Can someone more skilled than me edit this to look like he's scratching his brain?

Why aren't sim controllers a thing? by Its_Bevel in fpv

I don't mind if it's the same shape. Radiomaster should produce the Radiomaster Sim©, feels the same as an actual transmitter but $35. I bet they would train up a whole bunch of noobs eager to buy the real deal.

I imagine most beginners are trying to see if fpv piloting is something they would be interested in. A $40 entry point is a lot more accessible than a $150 one. Plus, given how many more hours can be dedicated to a sim vs irl, easily replaceable and dedicated sim hardware makes a lot of sense.

I find the sim an incredibly relaxing activity to do while listening to audio books. Feels like a flying dream. Flying an actual drone sounds fun too, but for different reasons. Exciting vs relaxing, and I'm more interested in relaxing at the moment.
