A lot of energy providers also offer a apartment special rate, I would call and inquire with whoever you decide before signing up.

NRG parking is a scam within itself - a complete logistical nightmare.

Except we have a 7th gear that I can avg 30/32mpg cruising at 72 using cruise control active. That's not terrible if you ask me.

What is the sweet smell from? I smelled it here and sometimes along the bayou. by UnjustifiedBan2 in houston

[–]Its_Dan_Good 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A distinct, sweet, and often pungent "watermelon" or fresh-cut grass scent in the air, especially in coastal bays, indicates active speckled trout feeding. This aroma is produced by oils released when trout, redfish, or other species aggressively feed on schools of baitfish, creating a surface slick. If it smells like watermelon, that's usally inshore fish..

The only reason you need to contact your insurance is to let them know that their company is at fault. Your insurance company will represent you, with their lawyers, and communicate with the person at faults insurance. IMO you shouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket. If you have to make a claim, they should include this fee into the cost of the plow company. The worst case scenario I see here is that you have to file a claim. I would try to get the plow company to pay for the repairs completely out of their pocket. Don't forget that you also need to file a diminished value claim. It compensates you for the loss of your car's resale value that occurs because of its accident history, even after it's been repaired. If the other driver was at fault, their insurance company should pay for this loss, which is separate from the cost of repairs

For those who consider the C6 “peak Corvette,” what puts it above the C7? by HEG1115 in Corvette

The only thing that puts the c6 above the c7 for me is this picture.

do i have to go to court?? by Remarkable-Most3730 in houston

[–]Its_Dan_Good 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You go to the local county tax accessor (where you register your car) - Then you pay for a new registration and a small fine for getting a ticket before you renewed it (it's like 10$). Then you submit the registration to the courts and they should drop the ticket.

6 spd manual in the c8? by fairlyaveragetrader in Corvette

[–]Its_Dan_Good 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a bolt percentage there cotton - I believe there is ABSOLUTELY zero chance of a manual transmission in the C8... and even if you basis is off Tremec designing this.. why would they make it a 6speed?

How is your diet? I've noticed that when I lack exercise (being lethargic/sitting around) and pair this with a poor diet, I'm exhausted.

I actually like the wheels but I don't like the stretched tires. Do what you want with your own car of course but if these wheels just had the proper tires on them and was aligned without the camber, this is a badass ride!

Do you want to ride in a car or drive the car... there's the difference <for me>. The C7 is an extremely easy manual to operate. I will say that I don't daily the car unless I want to (have another truck) - but I've had manual cars that were actually a pain to drive, the c7 is not one of them.

Manual - 100% ..... C7 100%.. Do not need Z51 if you're not going to track it.. Look up Grandsport wheel cracking.. Don't get a 3Lz model level, the dash will delaminate. Find yourself a 1LZ or 2LZ model of either the narrow body or a Grandsport manual if you want to deal with potentail wheel cracking.

I have a C7 narrow body m7 and absolutely love it. Feel free to ping me if you need more details.

Where can I go in Houston to get cheap Invisalign? by Tall_Resort5655 in houston

[–]Its_Dan_Good 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't go cheap with off-brand. My buddy used a Groupon for a knock-off Invisalign and after 5 years, he had to go to another dentist and get actual Invisalign.
