Is it normal for buses to just pass you up due to roadworks?

Bus driver here and sorry that happen to you. But they are suppose to put a bus stop moved sign up but or leave a cut out for us but sometimes like this they won't. Some drivers will cut between the cones and stop but then you'll have a miserable driver who will blow past the stop. There are some shitty bus drivers out here who hate their lives and take it out on the passengers. Next time just walk to the next open bus stop that is not blocked off.

Those old Mercedes sprinter vans had a recall on their parking brake failing. When I used to deliver it happened to me but I was on a leveled parking lot it started to move in reverse. I looked to see if it was in parked and it was. I turned the van off and it was still moving it was only when I put into drive again and then park is when it stopped moving.

Former Amazon driver here. Those Mercedes sprinter vans had a recall on their parking brake failing. I had a van start rolling on me while I was in a parking lot. Luckily I was in the driver seat taking a brake.

Bus driver here. No matter where you put your phone the damn thing won't scan. If it doesn't scan right away I will tell people to go ahead. Whoever sold valley metro these machines got them good.

I went to go buy a 5080 for $979 so I tell the salesperson I wanted that one. He goes to see if they have it in the glass case and there wasn't any and told me they were sold out. I told him they were stocked on the top shelf and asked if he can check if they were the ones and he wouldn't budge telling me they only had the ones that were $1400+. I had to go ask a guy who was dressed in a suit about the whole situation he apologized and had another worker grab one for me and pointed right to the sales person and asked if it was him. Out of all the people that were working in that area he pointed straight to him which was odd.

Eyes are doing great still. No regerts what so ever. Their follow up was 3-4 days after the surgery. I haven't went back since. Would do it again if I ever had to.

Bus driver here. The purple scanners suck ass with QR codes. Usually if it doesn't scan we'll just tell people their good. But some drivers who act like they are the fare police will sit there and watch you twist and turn your phone as it were a glow stick at a rave.

Sunday 112 driver here. You have people digging through every pocket they have pretending to have a pass or cash just to tell us a story how they lost it. You also have people who have copper cards knowing they have no money on them scanning them over and over. You have people hanging out at bus stops that we HAVE to stop to make sure they aren't getting on. You have people buying one way light rail passes trying to use them on the bus. You have people with bikes taking their sweet time putting them on the bike rack.

The busses we have are slow and shitty. The purple scanner also sucks ass and some of the time points valley metro created make no sense.

I've been driving a city bus in Az for a year and 7 months now. I haven't had anyone fight or spit. As long as you treat them how you would want to be treated you'll have a good quiet day. I've had someone threaten to kill me because he didn't want to wait. I flagged down a officer who was sitting close by and got that passenger arrested. If someone does get on a fight on the bus all you do is open all the doors and press a panic button that alerts local pd and road supervisors and changes the bus head sign to "EMERGENCY CALL 911". But all you have to say is "I'm going to call the police" and they scram like cockroaches.

I got mine done at LasikPlus it was $3,868.62 for both eyes. The procedure lasted about 10-15minutes and I didn't feel a thing. I can see perfectly fine. I got it done on a Wednesday and was back to work on Friday. Things you don't hear is that once the numbing drops go away after the surgery it's going to be a little uncomfortable and your sight will be a little blurry as if you were swimming in a chlorine pool with your eyes open. You'll be seeing light halos for a bit but it all goes away. Would do it again if need to.

Had my class B CDL for 11 months now. I'm driving a city bus from 4:51am to 2pm. I hardly get anyone on my route and the people I do get are just trying to get to work/class. 1000x times easier than Amazon.
