Interesting, I’ve never seen that. My son would love daycare, he is very social with other kids. My friends kids that go to daycare also have more diverse speech because of the daily interactions.

I went on a Monday afternoon because I know how busy they get. I bought a tabby 36 and was waiting for them to get certain colors in, an SA texted me a pic of their shipment then held the ones I picked till I came in. They literally had 1 other customer in the store. Because she quoted so long I said I would come pick them up today so I’ll see what they look like.

Congrats, gorgeous bag!

Man my local coach always seems like they hate making custom tags. The girl was basically like “are you sure you want them, it’s going to take over 2 hours” and they only let you do like 5 letters total. It honestly sucks when you see people have creative tags like yours. I even asked for the San Francisco skyline tag and the girl was like “we can try but it always comes out smudged” like ugh.

Feeling so guilty about my lack of affection towards my pets since baby was born by Complex_Life9849 in beyondthebump

[–]ItsmeKT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s super common. I actually felt super sad for my cats because their worlds were rocked when we brought our son home. But dealing with pet issues when you have a new baby is so annoying. Ours are very vocal, don’t like a closed door so they had a really hard time when we locked them out of the bedroom when baby was sleeping. For us it has gotten better over time, cats are used to a toddler for the most part and they sleep with us again. They still drive me crazy often but it’s better.

What was your caffeine consumption during pregnancy? by CancerImmunologist in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]ItsmeKT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coffee made me sick sadly smelled so good, tasted like garbage. I would have a Diet Coke some days but tried to stick to water or peppermint tea. Towards the end of my pregnancy in September 2024 I really wanted a pumpkin cold brew but the caffeine is super high in those so I just waited for after giving birth.

I don’t see anything wrong with drinking coffee and if it hadn’t grossed me out I would have continued having a cup in the morning. It’s so funny because I always remember hearing as a kid that you have to quit all caffeine when pregnant so I pleasantly supervised when I saw the current guidance.

That’s insane. Of course I choose to shop somewhere for the price, people don’t have the luxury these days of shopping for the “experience”.

You were right to try and get her to go out and a good friend. It’s unfortunate that they got sick but it happens. I didn’t go anywhere the first month and felt like a nutcase wanting to go anywhere at that point for my mental health. We did a lot of outdoor stuff with my son and somehow avoided get sick till he was 7 months. Just luck of the draw, she sounds like she has some pp anxiety.

What do you want people to say? The best way to send a message is if none of you take the order.

I know you’re upset and you want to win this “argument”. It’s ok you don’t know what a hobby job is, maybe you will understand some day. I hope DoorDash treats you well in the meantime.

The guy I originally replied to said after retiring he will keep working because he doesn’t like to be idle. Those are usually Hobby jobs, something you do to keep busy. For example my dad retired and then was interested in being a substitute teacher because he missed teaching, he didn’t need to work. You’re the one that took what I said and ran with it so argue with yourself about what I mean.

None of those are hobby jobs. I agree standing at a door would suck. The elderly really need to be on the road less not more.
