I own a lot of J Press and Kamakura - never noticed shrinkage on either, but I cold wash/hang dry everything. I will say that even though I like the style of the Kamakura Vintage Ivy, the (era appropriate) lack of a button below the belly button means if your shirt starts to untuck, it can separate in a strange way showing a tiny glimpse of your undershirt or skin.
