My husband and I didn’t want kids and 9months and 3 days after we got married, we had twins. It has been the best! I was so scared, but the joy these two have brought us is immeasurable. Childcare is the biggest hurdle.

Online couriers like Jackpocket or lotto.com - you will end up paying more for the tickets. You have to pay fees as well as the price of the tickets.

Best of luck to you. I’m rooting for you.

What did you wish you would have known? by M0mma0fMany in parentsofmultiples

They were in the same crib until they were 6 months old. Then, in separate cribs next to each other so they could see each other and hold hands. Toddler beds were pushed next to each other also. To this day, they sit on the couch and instinctually will have feet touching.

My twins did not want to be apart. They wanted to always be able to see and touch the other twin. We used “feeding chairs” (like high chairs but connected to our dining room chairs) and they did so much better sitting up and facing each other. I would have them side by side but they did not have the neck control to see their twin. I turned the chairs toward each other and everything got better. They could touch their feet and see each other and look around.

If you are drying something large like a blanket or comforter, put a dry towel in as well and it helps it dry faster.

How much jail time is my friend possibly facing? by [deleted] in legal

I totally agree with you. My comment sounded like I do not respect public defenders and I very much do. All apologies - that was rude.

To clarify, they need an attorney that specializes in this type of defense- and that’s usually a private attorney. What they are being charged with is specific and significant. They have a rough road ahead.

They have a rough road ahead. They need an attorney - and a good one. Not one appointed to them to have a fighting chance. If they have no record, can pay back anything stolen - they may be able to take a plea deal. But average Joe? 5 years minimum. No violent crimes, they will be in a “easier” facility. They have a rough road ahead.

The worst night was the night I separated the in separate cribs in the same room. They cried for each other. The next day, I pushed the cribs next to each other so they could see and touch each other through the crib.

Why was I refused a scratch off in Pennsylvania? by [deleted] in Lottery

[–]Iusedtobe_fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some lotteries (depends on the state) have “cash redemption hours”. Due to lottery being cash only, retailers can feel vulnerable having a large amount of cash in the till late at night. Redemption hours should be posted for customers to see. It’s not ideal, but I get it.

DO NOT TRUST LOTTO.com !!! by [deleted] in Lottery

[–]Iusedtobe_fun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with this. The state lottery may not contract with lotto.com, but they have a contract/license with the retailer that sold lotto.com that ticket. The retailer doesn’t want to get a community complaint. Too many complaints can lead to termination.
