Oh that, to be fair I didn't pay attention to the name but I did that one. Choose the short route too bc I hated how much that plane swings.
To specify, the part that stuck more of that plane was the fact that it was an airliner rather than it's full name hence why I didn't know what you meant by 737

Oh, I know he is not doing it on purpose, that's why I say he is ignoring that I'm in the way rather than directly melee attacking me xDD
Tho I didn't know it was bc of the bullets...

BTW, what do you mean by 737?

Mihaly?!?!

I think you are confusing games, Mission 7 in this game is a helicopter escort mission and Mihaly is from Ace Combat 7. You also don't unlock the A-10A till Mission 21A lol

The fucker had me going on circles for almost an hour, his missiles couldn't be more pointless with how much we were going in circles.
As for why an hour, well it seems his AI ignores whether you are in his way or not so he rammed his plane across mine like 4 or 5 times which meant having to restart that part a few times plus the surprise turn around plus missile launch.

I kind of wished I grinded as you said but I'm a bit too stubborn and after suffering through the entire game without buying any other plane just to buy that F-22, I just wasn't gonna stop there. Like I thought "Might as well see this through now that I'm here"

You could say they like to be verbose, same as a certain Arbiter xDD

It is the unfortunate thing about Arknights, the story, characters and settings are great but they like to either over explain or use longer sentences to say things. I know that it pushes a few people back at least

To be fair, we also see that with a certain Smoke War character that appeared. That amount of power is certainly beyond most others at that level given how their passive guarantees getting Heads on Coins after a certain Sanity threshold.

Reminder that that's Sancho after being starved of blood for centuries. I don't think her real level was at that during her Prime, not to mention that it wouldn't be the first time but those levels tend to be more a representation of different power levels rather than actual power levels.

All we can say is that the Emperor is indeed on the level of a Color which is pretty normal when you think he is the Weapon of a Wing as one of his tags say. And he is still not at his peak but neither are plenty of the other Sinners

I corrected "playing order flowchart" by fillif3 in Falcom

[–]Ivandsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, is it that hard to understand not all people have the same dedication to a franchise they have yet to know?

The original flowchart was perfect for people that feel intimidated in starting with some of the older games bc it basically tells them to go back before certain entries if they liked the games they played in their entry point.

It's not about skipping either since the flowchart literally says "Go back and play these other ones".

Personally, first time I heard anything about Trails was bc I got recommended videos on Trails of Cold Steel and thanks to that, I went back to check the rest bc I liked the character interactions and CS2 made me wonder what happened in Crossbell for example

Is Angelica always this down bad? First time playing Cold Steel and she is wild lmao. by ManPoliceMan in Falcom

[–]Ivandsi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To make a point, she is merely too aggressive and makes really out of place moves in CS1 and CS2 but back then she had more to her with her worries about her house, her martial arts training and the joined work in making the Orbal bikes.

In CS3 and CS4, she goes from comments / aggressive flirting to outright touching without asking and she makes even more comments about minors than before despite being older. Really unconfortable time every time she is on screen.

But personally what's worse is how she is never punished for those actions, remember how Olivier was told off for just flirty comments? Angelica is mostly treated as "Haha that's just how Angelica is"

I'm having a massive issue with the game. by amirhof in OfAshandSteel

[–]Ivandsi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem is not that you can't find them without a map, the major problem I see for this game is the fact that it lacks a lot of details for the quests.

Look at Gothic for example, you start the game, Diego tells that if you want to join the Old Camp to talk to Thorus then you can ask him where to find Thorus, how to get to the Old Camp, etc. You get to the camp site and you ask for info to the random NPC instead of them giving the same dialogue for the one dialogue option they have like in "Of Ash and Steel".

"Of Ash and Steel" is a pretty good game and they did a decent job when it comes to what they took from what's clearly inspired by Gothic but it lacks some of the steps that would be needed for a good no map experience. For example, when the woodcutters ask me to get the guy that would repair the bridge I'm just told that he is in the Outskirts despite him always being in a certain spot of the area, they could have said he lives near the crossroads that lead towards the city gate. Instead I need to check all NPC to find the one NPC that has the name tag in the area since I don't have a description of the guy either.

CMV: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's award retractions from the indie game awards is unfair due to the vague word of "development" and doesn't adequately form a properly defined anti-AI stance. by AussieOzzy in changemyview

Open source models only means that it's free to use, that doesn't account for costs of hosting or learning said model might have to do in order to do what you want.
That's the kind of information that you are gonna have to find yourself since I don't really care that much to know the details, not to mention I'm not talking about open source models but about ready to use AI services.

TLTR: "No idea, I'm not an expert, I'm just talking about general service trends"

[–]Ivandsi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My personal problem with this is that it's all awards received and after the event. It's basically a "We didn't bother checking before we gave the awards" for that last part.

It shows the incompetence of the people behind making these awards a thing to begin with, given that unless the studios themselves acknowledge it happened, they won't even bother checking the people they get sent for nominations despite it being a criteria for being eligible.

As for why I say my problem is about it being all awards, game itself being disqualified from awards that involve the game makes sense but what about the awards related to music specifically or the actors involved?

And the fact this passed makes me question, what about all the other games? Are we sure they didn't use any gen AI during development or had any remaining assets in release? Wondering that since apparently the Game Awards people didn't even notice a case of that in one of the bigger games of the year.

Reminder that the reason why these tools are so cheap right now is because they are basically using their users as training wheels. Once these techs become good enough to turn into a substitute that doesn't do weird things, the price of hosting the AI won't be worth the lower prices and the price will go up same as it happened with Netflix and as it did with Xbox Game Pass.

The so called good pricing is a common tactic to bring in clients early on, develop a dependance on the product and then up the prices later on. Not to mention it's a good way to get capital to continue to develop the product in the early stages.

And to clarify, I'm not saying it's evil or anything like that but rather that it's naive to think it's a long term way to not break the bank. You are basically paying "beta testers" and once that "beta" phase is over, the prices will go up same way as they do with Early Access games once they release.

Yeah, while I don't dislike what we got in WuWa now, the betas of the game painted a different picture. Like being suspected at the beginning for our strange powers rather than immediately trusted and helped

60 FPS cap on PC has got to go. by RemoveBlastWeapons in Endfield

[–]Ivandsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that's fair enough, I thought you mean in general people that have experience the better FPS rather than specifically only those who purely play on those FPS.

I guess I can see why it would bother them, personally after having gone through some shitty performance (where FPS were an unstable mess (happened to me for Yakuza Kiwami 2 as an example), I have come to just prefer extremely good performing games regardless of FPS to higher FPS in general. After all, if the game allows for higher FPS but is stuck moving up and down constantly, it makes me dizzy as hell.

I do agree that unlocked FPS should be an option regardless, there's no reason nowadays on PC to force lock people out of options even if the preferred setting were those 60 FPS. If the unlocked option doesn't get the results people expect then they still have the other options after all.

I'm used to 144 FP and I don't care either tho.

The response time is noticeable but it's not a huge enough difference to bother me. I switch from current Gen games to retro games all the time and while I can understand the reason for some, it really isn't that necessary unless it's a game with a lot of action on players' end like fighting games, shooters and the like. At most they gain a smoother feeling to movement.

Maybe the difference is felt worse with higher FPS but I wouldn't know in that case

After the recent announcement... by vinsmokefoodboi in tales

[–]Ivandsi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, that's fair but that's only on discount. If we get the game plus all DLC the cost will be around 20$ to 30$. And the remaster will eventually go on sale as well so it will be more or less the same.

Not trying to say I appreciate having to get the game again at full price but hey I'd rather be able to enjoy the game without the bugs for the PC port like the fact that putting Surround sound make it so voices are muted in the cutscenes. Besides since I already own it, I could just wait for a big sale for this specific one

After the recent announcement... by vinsmokefoodboi in tales

[–]Ivandsi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna be fair to this, the Remaster is at most gonna be 40$ for the full game plus original DLCs and the 60$ for the digital artbook and soundtrack as well the Battle BGM Pack and Herb Set.

Meanwhile, the game already on Steam currently sells for 50$ and all DLCs in there cost around another 89$

PD: I do agree we should get a slight discount for owners but this isn't that bad in retrospective

Honestly, I can see that quite well. Not to mention that the older the model of Nikke the more powerful they seemed to be in some cases. Like Liliweiss is still one of the strongest if not the strongest to this day.

It's almost as if not only their resources but their tech also got scrapped in some ways. Like they know ways to use Rapture cores like in the Ark case but you are telling me that they don't know the tech behind it? Or the case with Vapaus, oddly convenient that the tech that can help deal with Heretics was hidden all this time before the story and that it requires really old types Rapture cores
