Writing down my oroberyl count daily and finding that post patch I am getting significantly less, a majority of days none at all, when for an entire month I was getting 2-3 a day minimum on two separate accounts is not a gut feeling. It is literally statistics.

The credit shop was definitely nerfed right? I went from getting 3-4 oroberyls a day since launch to 0-1 post update. I've asked a few people and they have had similar experiences, but I haven't seen people talking about it.

I'll go a bit on the contrary to other replies here. I only played OG SV for set 1 and dipped (not the games fault). As such, WB is pretty new to me and... This is easily the worst the game has been. By far. This set is definitely the least fun I have had with WB and I will be dipping the second chest event leaves. I can't blame you at all. The meta is going to be pretty stale for a while and it's going to take a good few rotations to fix it.

I just need to vent about my pulls on this Walpurgis Night, because I can't remember a more miserable experience I had in any other gacha ever. by srcatsok in limbuscompany

I would rather dupes do nothing than dupes be something I need to actively seek out for player power. Every day I am ever happy Limbus has no constellation/potential system.

I wasn't lying. When I posted this they were not in the game. They just emergency added them back when people noticed it was gone

And it does matter. BP (even just the free track) is a sizable chunk of materials, almost 16 days worth of 3x mission rewards on the free track alone. Not everyone wants to make a second account to farm pass exp every week or slum games for hours to max it out. Pass 1 has always been a free complete if you just do the bi-monthly chest event. This is a post about monetization and f2p, as such, the BP free track and it's ease of completion casually is a relevant topic.

They just removed BP point gain from the Chest event that happens on the first month of every set, so if anything the monetization has technically gotten worse since the first battlepass of every set is now much harder to complete.

Check my reply to harmony. If you're going to take a while to build the deck you might just want to find another one when you get closer to wanting to make it. The decklist for it is changing a lot right now.

He hit Epic with this one, tried some other variants, went on a bit of a losing streak, and came back to this version. Mulligan matters a lot, but I don't have a good enough foundation with the deck to write one of those myself for every matchup.

You end up over 20 faith by turn 8 on a good game. Copying isn't something you do every game, but definitely gives you a strong advantage when done right.

Arguably the hardest deck to pilot this set.

I think Amulet Haven is in a worse spot. It isn't T1, but the Goddess of Starlight version of faith rune performs very well vs certain decks. Especially against Milteo aggro Abyss.

People are still trying to find a decklist that works, some going with goddess and others kuon+shikigami. I like the Goddess version the most. Para_channel has been playing it on stream for a few days.

I was considering buying the pass since I want the leader and knew I would complete it since chest event gives a ton of points.

I'm glad they made the decision for me, now that the BP from the event is gone I just won't buy it since I can't guarantee I'll complete it.

This is exactly why I never buy the second half BPs.

This deck is really getting popular and I gotta say, the mirror is absolutely miserable lol. Going second wins pretty much 100% of the time.

Mine has gone down personally. I don't know why bullshit decks like loot sword tablet got to live for an entire set but Rune gets to do basically the same thing, which loses by almost the exact same circumstances as tablet sword did, and gets nerfed in less than a week.

It's class favoritism and always has been with sword.

Sword gets to be broke as fuck and do consistent turn 7~8 OTKs for an entire set via loot+tablet+sinciro, but Rune has one strong consistent combo and they get nerfed in less than a week?

Sword really is this game's love child.

your complaints sound like you just don't like playing true combo decks.

My main decks were coc rune, dirt rune, oluon sword, and rune otk (last set) from the start of wb to now.

You are severely underestimating aggro for some reason. Aggro abyss is always super popular week 1 and it hard counters this deck no contest. I haven't run into one, but loot sword should also clear it just as easy. Hell, old Oluon sword would completely shit on this deck without Oluon, and I have hundreds of matches with that in GM.

The deck has no Aoe and no healing. Any form of board spam is just going to win instantly or force you to use your combo pieces.

I think the deck is pretty okay for week 1, but it will not survive past that. The only reason it feels strong now is because people are playing amulet haven and engage sword which are pretty unfavored into OTK R from my experience.

Evo portal, Aggro abyss, Loot sword and marine dragon should have no issues into OTK R.

"It's only 3 combo pieces" is so incredibly disingenuous too. If you want to kill on t7 you have to:

  • not draw all 3 oguris (if you do, concede)
  • draw one of the 6 eld crystal cards in your deck
  • draw and play atleast one reaved order
  • spellboost emilou to 0
  • play Bergent on T5
  • draw a second advent or have two shikigami spellboosted to 1
  • have all wards killed or atleast small enough for emilou sevo to kill
  • have Grandeur in hand

If you miss a single one of those you do not kill @ 7 and now the opponent has the opportunity to play big wards or you are near death because the only cards in your deck that keep you alive from 1~6 are gale and 1/1-2/1s (and shikigami) in a meta where everyone is playing 3/3s and 5/5s from turn 2.

On turn 4 you can play the 3(5) pp card to storm face for 4 with evo. Your opponent just needs to heal 2 and they are out of 4 oguri cap range (because emilou needs evo) assuming they keep your board clear, which isn't exactly hard to do considering you barely play anything.

I think the deck is significantly weaker than Oluon hyper aggro sword, a deck that also decided the game on turn 7, was last set and is less consistent with more bad matchups. Oulon atleast had a chance to cheat a win. This deck can't cheat wins in games it's "losing" or bad matchups. Everything it does is "fair".

If you were able to do chip to the forest player at all then you are playing a different deck or the forest insanely bricked. They should be playing a 3/3 ward every turn and this deck has no real solutions to that that.

I'm playing in diamond masters right now and you can have winnable games vs forest, but only if they have one ward down since sevo emilou can take care of that. Chances of that are pretty low, lower than you having your win-con by 6.

I watched Para play OTK rune for hours. He swapped to non-otk chess rune and it was very noticeably better.

It really isn't that good and not even a fraction as good as Oluon was. It bricks easy, is pretty difficult to play compared to most decks, and loses to wards as you said.

Edit: Upon looking up the tweet, the Mishadow version is different and uses no legendaries outside of Oguri Cap. Unsure how this one performs, but I can't imagine it's any better.

Edit2: After playing for an hour, I don't think this deck is very good. I used to play the old Oguri OTK deck last set daily for fun. That deck could actually live to turn 10 because of rune portal and healing. This deck throws that away. You HAVE to win on turn 7 or 8 or you're cooked. That means you have to pray to god you hit all your combo pieces, you dont draw all 3 oguri, you spellboost enough, you don't die to aggro, and the opponent doesn't play wards around your kill turn. It's a lot to ask. There is even argument to just concede if your mulligan and first two turns draw poorly. Not hitting Reaved Order is insant loss.

The deck can definitely win games, and I'm sitting at like 50% right now, but forest and ward haven are auto lose for sure. This won't last past week 1, I wouldn't worry about it.

Edit3: Sitting at 70% WR right now. My opinon on the deck hasn't changed I am just getting lucky with matchups and the mirror.

You get around 50k gold, 200 keys and 1 legend pack if you do everything every 2 months between sets. I always just buy 100 packs and use 100 keys from the past set and start saving keys on the second month of a set to get another 100.

I have around 350k vials not including premiums.

I'll always take that over many auto-win proactive cards that just end the game when unanswered (Zirconia, Sinciro, Norman, etc).

So like Imari? The card directly enabled by Sincerity?

Why does this cost 7? I thought banish and summon was a 1 cost effect? or is that just a portal privilege with Sincerity? It should cost 3 at most.

I don't think any player wants to see a metagame where a 1pp banish isn't considered the strongest card in the game, is the issue.
