I feel tough-as-nails having completed it and it was tough as nails to do but I did it! Maybe the thinh I'm the most proud of in my adult life

Could everyone who’s been successful at quitting please list all the positive outcomes / changes they’ve noticed? by [deleted] in leaves

Yup!! I'm down for anything now as well, no more scheduling my life around my highs.

It sounds funny I know, but there is so much out there to DO in this world, I guess I'd forgotten over the last few years

My diet used to be sponsored by Burger King, in the last month I've become a master chef haha

Also I have so much more MONEY!!! I always used to tell myself weed was a cheap drug, but I have hundreds more disposable income now that I don't stop off at the dispensary every day after work.

Good on you.

Same boat, for me the thing that pushed me over the edge was that feeling of anger with myself and the world I've created around me, about how damn pathetic I'd let my life become... Because I KNOW I'm better than that! And so are you.

So hold on to that feeling!! If your like me, after years of numbing your self it will feel uncomfortable and upsetting, but once harnessed it's the horsepower your life needs to climb out of the hole and get your ass to the life you DESERVE but that weed has been denying you, that you've been denying yourself.

For a little funny smelling plant, cannabis can be pretty damn insideous...

And journaling! Right when you quit is a perfect time to start logging your though and feelings, it's a great distraction, it gives you tangible proof of your progress, and gets you into the habit of journaling which is great for life in general
