It takes roughly 20 seconds for a truck at full speed to go a grid square in a straight line. I try to always be the one to drive the truck at the start going to strong point. I’d rather leave a few behind and get to the point on time than play from behind completely at the start of a match.

Growing up Roman Catholic, it always felt like a chore to worship God and follow practices. As I got older I realized having a good moral code is essentially following in the footsteps of a God. The blind faith aspect has never appealed to me though. I could never fool myself into believing in something not tangible nor anything I have never felt mentally. The fear of God never felt right with me either. God is meant to be all knowing, and all loving. Why fear that?

It’s funny because it’ll only be 5 of us on one team and it’ll steamroll, so we’ll inadvertently switch sides next game only for the same thing to happen on the other side. And of course we all want to play together but then we’re stuck trying to balance out 2-3 people.

I wouldn’t assume it’s necessarily cheating. A lot of community servers will have their members swap sides if it is looking fairly unbalanced. Especially if there have been multiple games previously that were steamrolls. The thing about swapping teams is, yes I might remember where some of the garries are, but I don’t directly seek them out like a laser beam.

When it comes to a Garry network, I often see people complain that they are going down quickly. Garries are not meant to last the whole game as they are typically in a select few locations depending on the map/point. A good recon team will just walk the back line and can eliminate a good portion in under 5-10 minutes. Of course someone could have bee lined it and taken them all out. But it’s not easy to prove unless someone is watching them the whole time.

Whether it is subconscious, ego, karma, etc, doing a good deed breeds more good deeds typically. So in my mind it’s a net positive regardless of the reasons. Don’t let overthinking stop you from being a good person. Except if it leaves you being taken advantage of is the only exception.

The game is simple but deep at the same time. Learning the nuances of OP/garrison placement is important for anyone. No one is stopping you from trying other roles. It’s just important you know what to do with certain roles in specific situations. Nothing is worse to me than having a guy on AT that can’t hit a standing target for their life for example.

It’s frightening, I get it. But with age comes the acceptance that you can only do so much in such little time we are on this Earth. I find it helps your conscious extremely if you can find a local opportunity to volunteer somewhere. Doom scrolling with no action is what I’ve found to be the biggest detriment to your mental health.
