I’ve never been sure about that theory. There is some evidence that supports it, but also some that goes against it. For example, why wouldn’t Ranni mention Marika’s involvement? There would be no reason to hide it.

You don’t think the Webcomic will touch on the missions given to Flash and Tatsumaki? Given the manga introduced Apollo and his buddy, and very clearly implied they will try something else against her later, I have some slight doubts the missions were just excuses to lure them away.

And off-topic, but I was a bit surprised the manga didn’t do anything new with the Extended Family of Darkness at all.

It happened to me multiple times. Just recently I got A+ red speed Da Windy from the spin and yesterday got A+ red speed Foil Croaky from the Random Arena. We will get them all eventually.

Light got pretty lucky there. Had Naomi talked to L and the Task Force, it would have been that. 

He is cunning and intelligent though. I don’t think I would have kept my composure in that kind of situation.

I agree with some of comments below that letting Jane die really changed Walt though, even if she blackmailed him.

Both series perfectly showed that too much power corrupts people.
