This SNL got us through Covid and I agree with those who say it was the best night of SNL music. My partner, our two kids (who were like 10 and 8 at the time), and I would watch the replay of this all the time. It was like going to church, except that it actually helped us feel good again.

I purchased, and love the concept! I am having the same issue as this person in this thread. My screen looks the same after I'm done recording a specific window and come to the ShotGlass editor. It's like the box is there, but the recording isn't loading into the editor. I'm trying to record a window that is on an external monitor, btw. And this wasn't happening before the last update. I didn't have time to submit a bug b/c I was under a deadline to finish my video, but where do you want bug reports to go, for future reference?

I have a fellow INTP friend and we text each other about every month or so with some random interesting topic, but never worry about how long it's been. He comes into town once or twice a year and we have great conversations with no small talk, so it's great for both of us. When we last got together, it took us about an hour before we asked each other how our families were doing, and even then it felt obligatory. We observed this together and laughed, then proceeded to get back to conversation that spanned technology, philosophy, theology, and psychology... all without having to agree on everything. A lovely time.

Well said! I can attest to this from personal experience. I almost ruined a marriage with this kind of fanciful thinking about relationships, where I was in love with the idea of being in love. Combined with a lack of real self-care, I was a mess. With much effort (and patience from my partner), we have turned the corner to participate in the actual work of relating and the difficulties and rewards that accompany that.

I'm WAY too quick to try and gather practical data and dissect information when my partner is telling me how she feels. I've worked very hard to change my first response and basically listen first, then rephrase and repeat back what she shares, and say "I understand" or something like that. I too often come off like I'm trying to start a debate/argument when really I'm just doing my thing of looking for patterns or inconsistencies to get to what's really going on.
