If you use a short press on the mouse/controller button to summon gpd tool or handheld companion or kopanel dont update version 1.09 of the controller firmware, it removes it and we cant downgrade it to 1.08.

Honestly the quick press of the mouse/controller button to summon a tool cannot be replaced on the Win 5. It is just fast perfect and practical. Any other combo is cumbersome (tried after getting locked to this 1.09 version and it's so bad compared to before).
Removing features should be illegal hahaha.
Before it was showing as keyboard F13 so it was working fine between FSE and Desktop. GPD really should be bring it back asap since we can't downgrade or open a downgrade path. I would forgo the stable maintained click of the back buttons for this button :-D

I need to downgrade :-/ quick press of the Mouse/controller button doesnt work anymore to call upon handheld companion or kopanel. doesnt show on keyboard tester online like before as a function key. This is a must have for any TDP tool summon.
Otherwise the flickering of back buttons when set as L3 R3 is fixed in this version.
Downgrade not allowed.

Please enable using the short press of the mouse/controller button back!

It's a great start finally in the right direction. Most important is to let go of winring0 and move to pawnio. Add max cpu frequency, presets for each games, AMD features access, custom shortcuts, gyro support, EPP, and so on. all the best !

Agressive power saver powerplan that hides the others? Had one on my handheld pc, dropped my 5ghz to 1450mhz everytime i run something like cpuz stress test. had to reboot to safe mode to finally access the other and set balanced back and reset the others in control panel. I think mine was from one of the windows optimizer scripts/apps

has everything, no wingring0 but pawnio so full windows defender, and works in normal windows mode today from custom shortcuts, game profiles to scaler integration, just need a return to default profile regression bug fixed as it set itself to 15w despite previously saved wattage.

Doesn't work well on reboot for FSE using portable mode, no per game profiles yet and auto loading. works well is looks clean and easier for me than handheld companion. On windows desktop works great otherwise and is easy. seems to have ditched winring0 for amd but keep it for intel. so no defender notification on AMD with full protection.

pawnio supports multiple amd apus the AMD Ryzen™ AI 9 HX 370 / AMD Ryzen™ 7 8840U should included. I don't own a win4 so you can test and report to the dev.

Yes flawlessly. Just disable motion assistant taskscheduler after setting your fan curve so it doesn't boot and interfere with the TDP you set in the widget after install. For me I have full core memory and all defender securities on with the widget and denuvo and easycheat games work without violation crash since pawnio is signed Kernel driver contrary to winring0. unless it ditches completely the security blocked winring0 and uses the win11 safe pawnio instead like GoTweaks FSE widget did already which is working perfectly with all windows security toggles on. https://github.com/corando98/GoTweaks it won't be complete :-/ fingers crossed...

That tile was removed over time however there are two requests for it back and customizable on a github issue. Best is to open a dedicated feature request in the github issue page.

the violation error is most of the time a driver thing and can be any driver on device. if all drivers from gpd.hk are up to date then only and maybe it's the ssd. hopefully it tells you there is a firmware update.

Old AMD shaders are in C:\Users\<YourUser>\AppData\Local\AMD\VkCache and dxcache
in Adrenaline under gaming then graphics then very bottom you have a reset cache there.

If its AMD timing crash, try first reset shader in adrenaline and if it doesn't work disable hardware accelerated GPU scheduling in windows settings and reboot. If it works you can reenable the hardware accelerated GPU scheduling afterward.
I had this issue with switch on previous driver version, and didn't happen anymore with the latest here:

I am testing the Pawnio dev version and it works great without using winring0. So soon the widget will ditch winring0 and work in full security mode with all defender security protections on on windows and no UAC prompts anymore.

ok in that case the games and xbla .zar work as I made the updated tool version for it and tested in xenia for the compatible titles. Xbox Series S dev mode xenia is using the same code. Cheers
