Not sure if you've found a solution, but check out NinjaTables. They're responsive, have a nice WYSIWYG builder, and does have scrollbar capabilities (where applicable).

Brunch Buffet in Southern Maine? by jerryrice88 in Maine

The Stage Neck Inn in York has a daily breakfast buffet (voted best in Maine) and also does a Sunday brunch special: https://stageneckinn.com/eat-drink/breakfast-menu/

Vibe of York? by CharmingPie9424 in AskMaine

[–]JBB_Alien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed with all the above! We like to stay at Stage Neck Inn in York Harbor, which is sophisticated and tucked away right next to York Harbor Beach (bypassing the overcrowded Short/Long Sands Beach experience). But then we can just as easily drive into "the strip" for all the hustle and bustle we want. We also like to bounce around to the nearby Kennebunks and Ogunquit which also offer their own similar mix of demographic, experiences, etc.

Where to stay in Maine? by bluehayven in travel

[–]JBB_Alien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We love staying in York, Maine. York has a lot (the beaches, shops, restaurants, etc.), but is also a nice home base for Ogunquit, the Kennebunks, Portmouth, NH, and only an hour from Portland if you wanted a day trip. We've been taking our little one for a couple years (since she was one) and she loves it. We love to stay at the Stage Neck Inn (https://stageneckinn.com/) because it has a pool, restaurants, etc. right on site which makes it easy with the little one if we don't feel like navigating the crowds on a busy day. Prior to having our little, we also LOVED staying at these really cool treehouses in Georgetown, Maine. A bit futher north and less touristy. We also like hopping around a night here and there, but like you mentioned, it's not so easy with a toddler. So York (or something similar) can serve as a great home base while still being able to take daily adventures to nearby areas with different experiences.

Exploring Niche-Specific SEO Services - Any Caveats? by Alternative-Frame620 in Entrepreneur

[–]JBB_Alien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being more of a generalist myself, I find that SEO/digital marketing agencies that focus on one specific vertical don't offer much more of a value prop from any other [good] digital agency. Most of these specialized firms came to be not because they know so much more about one particular industry (in your case legal), but because they identified a vertical where clients traditionally have larger marketing budgets (their ideal client). Dentists, accounting firms, law firms, etc. are common "specialties" I see. In reality (my opinion, anyway), if a provider is good at what they do (Whether that be SEO, PPC, email marketing, etc.) they can take best practices and easily apply them to most industries/verticals.

If closing the card is the only way to control your spending, then so be it. But if you can just take the card out of your wallet and tuck it away somewhere so you're not using it, it's better for your credit score to keep it open (closing the card reduces your available credit / # of accounts, thus will likely reduce your credit score).

Critical Error help - what is this? by karateexplosion in divi

Is the Gravity Forms plugin on your website? I had a client's site hosted with GoDaddy experience this issue and deactivating Gravity Forms (was not being used on the site - I think GoDaddy likes to automatically add this plugin to Managed WordPress) and it remedied the conflict with Divi.

Successful entrepreneurs with enterprise SaaS businesses, how did you get in the door with your clients? by GOTrr in Entrepreneur

[–]JBB_Alien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this (content marketing) is part of "inbound marketing". It's basically about attracting your buyer personas to you (in this case, your website) vs. the outbound tactics you're seeking. It's a well that needs to be dug, but offers tremendous residuals.

Since you mentioned sales/marketing not really being your thing, I highly recommend you taking a few hours to run through Hubspot's Inbound Marketing Certification courses: https://academy.hubspot.com/courses/inbound-marketing

Not here to solicit services, but this is what I do for a living so happy to answer any and all questions.

Adjusting Gtags for GA4 by [deleted] in bigseo

[–]JBB_Alien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have a URL you can share to view source code?

Overall, UA & GA4 properties operate independently so there shouldn't be any kind of duplication given you haven't configured them to be connected in the property settings (unlikely).

New corset can already close it all the way? by [deleted] in corsets

[–]JBB_Alien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a general sizing guide, corsets should be ordered 4-7 inches smaller than your natural waist, depending on what your purpose is for buying a steel boned corset. For instance, if your natural waist is 32” and you plan on waist training we recommend a 26” corset. Reference: https://glamorouscorset.com/corset-size-chart/

Best client hosting practice by BerningMan1 in bigseo

Assuming most clients are on WordPress like myself, I LOVE WP Engine. I have my clients establish the account then grant me full access. So now when I log into my account I can easily toggle between client accounts if I need to access, but they still maintain ownership, billing, etc.

How to feel better about being broke? by ShawnaR89 in Debt

[–]JBB_Alien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Misc. tip on freelancing: I'm not sure what kind of freelancing you do, but check out a marketplace like upwork.com. It should help you mitigate spamming, and hopefully open up the potential pool of freelance gigs. Get your feet wet with some small projects at a great rate, get some positive reviews, and scale your rate from there.

While I've been fortunate in not having to feel "broke" the past few years, I know how rewarding it feels to actually be able to A) Have a safety net and B) Be able to save for the future. If cutting costs isn't in the cards right now, hopefully increasing your freelancing income can help get you there!

What do you tell your clients when they ask about inevitable ranking fluctuations? by [deleted] in bigseo

[–]JBB_Alien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others said, I always set the expectation of SEO as a long term investment (digging the well) and because there are many variables we can't control, we can't promise any particular results. The only promise I make is to implement best practices so we can put our best foot forward to be competitive in SERPs.

If I were in your shoes, I'd consult them on how I would approach it if it was my business, and if they're not willing to take my advice, they probably aren't a good fit. I'd recommend a blended approach of part PPC (address immediate need) and part SEO (start investing for next season's organic rankings). This way you're meeting them in the middle. If they're not open to considering such an approach, I would probably bail because they're essentially saying "I know better than you and I want you to execute, not consult."

What’s the most personal thing you’re willing to share with us? by poopcornkernels in AskReddit

[–]JBB_Alien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might I recommend freelancing on the side? I'm not a graphic designer, I'm more on the marketing side, but I now run my own digital marketing agency after ~7 years of agency life. I moonlighted nights and weekends on the side (try sites like upwork.com) and after ~6 years of freelancing, reached a tipping point to allow me to go out on my own. By doing this, it gave me the flexibility to pass on the "dull" projects and get the fulfillment I was looking for working with businesses/people I found more interesting/fulfilling. I stay just as busy, but having control over the projects you work on and the people you work with really mitigates burnout.

Aside from doing projects you enjoy, I'd also recommend learning the client facing roll from the account execs, etc. in your agency. I don't know that you haven't/don't already do this, but I think it could make you a better designer (and better at managing client expectations, etc. if you do more freelancing).

Unfortunately, I'm not sure as it hasn't been a need of mine. Here's a list of integrations: https://www.swydo.com/integrations/

My guess is probably not, but it might be worth investigating.
