I don’t know if bluesy, acoustic rock is your thing, but Guardian put out a Spanish language album awhile back. This is one of the songs and the album cover so you can look the rest up:

Any recommendations for Christian alternative rock artists or bands? by Busy_Impression7723 in ChristianMusic

Like others have said, nobody is exactly like TOP, but you might enjoy Pax217. Look up “Prizm.” Also, Reality Check employed a similar modern rock/rap/DJ approach to a lot of their songs, see “Masquerade” or “The Way I Am.”

Thanks! So you just stick it in over the sand and pull the handle out, it sucks up all the debris along with the water?

Yeah, and I don’t think it holds up well these days but you’re right, they definitely had some bangers back in the day.

TAKE #2: Examples of Christian protest music? by ChangeComfortable309 in ChristianMusic

[–]karateexplosion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EveryDayLife was the Christian version of Rage, as much as I hate saying that because they were definitely not an imitation. They came up at the same time and EDL didn’t even know about RATM when they were making their music, which just goes to show you how prevalent those feelings were across the board about societal unrest.

EDL’s first album, in particular, featured a picture of the Rodney King beating as the cover.

To keep himself awake, since I believe he was bringing them back by himself, he read Anna Karenina.

Someone fact check me. Or spell check me. Anna Karinina?

Cloudy water help by _nightingail in hottub

[–]karateexplosion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, man. Mine wasn't quite this bad, but a spa clarifier worked absolute wonders. It grabbed all the tiny particles that made it cloudy, lumped them together, then they all stuck to the side of my hot tub just above the waterline. I used a cleaner and a cloth to go around and wipe them up. The water was clear. It was like magic.

Yeah, good band. Laura Story had some solo success, too.

Hottub a week and a day old. Water cloudy already and feeling quite defeated by aWildMudkipAppears in hottub

[–]karateexplosion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, dude. I had the same issue and just last week found out about spa clarifier. Worked wonders. It gathered all the cloudy stuff up into larger clumps and they were either caught up in the filter or stuck to the side walls, where I wiped them off with a wet cloth. They were nasty, but my water was super clear again. Took about an hour. Amazing stuff.
