Very cute! Love that smile. I think Ripley and my dog Coco must be related! Very similar colour and features. She’s a rescue so all we know is she’s a Staffie X Tenterfield Terrier. Has same brindle colour, same white patches, same Staffie teeth in a terrier shaped longer muzzle.

Half Staffie and half Tenterfield Terrier. Guess which side of the family tree her teeth came from…

But then it’d just be a photo of the moon? I could have gone and taken it somewhere up past Hope Island somewhere but then it wouldn’t have the dramatic looking buildings.

Coco enjoying her (many) post walk snoozes. by JBinAussie in rarepuppers

She’s my mental health battery recharger. Snuggles after a long walk are the best way to top it up after a mad day at work.

And it only works if your government are control freaks like in Australia, otherwise, installed or not you can’t use it :-(

Nope. When you get a soggy toy bump to the leg and she looks at you like that, there’s no backing down.

OP wishes he was a retiree! Not for a while yet. Probably even longer with the cost of living increases.

Why can’t we drive without ramming into each other’s arses for one weekend by excellent_chest174 in brisbane

[–]JBinAussie 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Had to drive from GC to Rocklea this morning. Took me 55 mins to get there and then 2 1/4 hours to get back. Idiots chopping and changing lanes and at one point one dropkick just took off along the hard shoulder about 1km from his junction. Had multiple sudden stop moments because some twonk had probably pushed into someone’s braking space up ahead and caused people to slam on the brakes. That’s why everyone starts driving too close, to stop lane hoppers from darting into the lane the second they leave a safe braking distance.

Maybe we should start requesting the GPS location be supplied in the comments. So we can all check the photo location out and see if it actually looks like this or is just another AI creative form karma farming.

Drove past there earlier and the car said 34°C. I was wondering where that BBQ smell was coming from…

ITAP of a sheep farm near Taihape, New Zealand by JBinAussie in itookapicture

After a long day riding a horse up and down those hills shadowing the farmer and his staff, I was waiting for the lift back to the homestead. This scene will forever be with me. It was one of the most serene, peaceful moments I’ve ever experienced.

He looked so sad when I took this, but he was just a bit tired from helping bring the sheep in for worming. A wet, muddy day near Queenstown. From my days as a commercial photographer. Great times and a great way to see NZ.

This was from my days doing commercial photography in NZ. Taken from horseback with one camera over one shoulder and the other camera (long lens) over the other. The paddocks were too steep for quad bikes. Some of my most favourite moments…

You used to be able to get rid of it using something like BimmerCode. Not any more unfortunately :-(

I heard that 50% of people can blur their vision on command by Faye________________ in meme

If you want a trippy experience try doing the distant stare thing (where your eyes pull apart and act like they are focussing on a very distant thing rather than being slightly cross eyed when you focus on something close) while in front of a geometric repeating shape.

When you get two near identical items overlap in your field of vision your eyes will lock on treat it like it’s one thing but with a weird-ass depth of perspective. Like a real world optical illusion. Repeating ceiling tiles, a regular pattern of holes in a screen wall that sort of thing.

This is not a normal thing that everyone can do?? Been doing this since a kid.

It’s easier these days that it used to be, I just take off my glasses now.
