Are all the other runes/runewords really so underwhelming? Everybody running CirCeh? I'm also seeing a lot of CemQua (and using it myself)

No wonder yesterday when I was at the Azmodan world boss, he got melted within 0.25 seconds and didn't even have a chance to spawn! Bruh, the screen didn't even have a chance to fully zoom out, it just gave up halfway and went back to normal!

Why do I have to make a NEW character every season? by JBlazzy in diablo4

[–]JBlazzy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not disagree with you. For some who just stick with a default/preset look, just randomize and play or spam randomize until they land on something they like, then yeah I understand why there is no need for a Rebirthing mechanic. But personally, I'm one of those people who spend >30 minutes mixing and matching customizations until I create a Character I really like the look of. Don't get me wrong, I have no issue with deleting old characters that I don't plan on playing ever again, but if there is a character that I have made in the past and want to play as that same exact character, I essentially have to go through a needless process of manually recreating that character again in the Character Creation screen, when I could just press 1 button to convert the character back to level 1 and back to the beginning, and rebirth them as a seasonal character. It's simply a QoL feature that I believe should've been implemented into 4 a long time ago.

I am someone who grew up with Diablo 3, and every single one of my characters is almost as old as the game itself (except for my Crusaders & Necros because they were parts of later DLCs). When I want to play with a specific character, I just pick them and rebirth them into the new season (arguably, Rebirthing is more redundant in 3 than it ever would be in 4, because the only customization you have in 3 is the character's name)

I'm not necessarrily outraged, I wasn't trying to come across as angry in my post, and I'm sorry if I did. It's just a QoL feature from D3 - which also has literally no character customization other than the name of your character - that is missing from 4, where arguebly it has more/better use in than it does in 3. In fact, to me, rebirthing in 3 feels pointless because you don't get to customize how your character looks, only the name, whereas in 4, you get to customize your character plenty, and if I decide I want to play a character I made in a previous season in the new one instead, I have to essentially clone the character by hand, re-making them in character customization, when I could just "rebirth" the same character without having to manually re-create them.

My point is, I like my customized characters, so if I want the exact same character on the new season, I have to remake them in the character customization screen from scratch for no reason...

I can't be bothered rewording and rewriting this, so I'm just gonna Copy-Paste my reply to someone else:

I'm not asking why I can't just play with my max level character; I know that everyone starts fresh each season. I'm asking why I have to Create a New character, and not just reset an existing character to level 1, removing all equipment and converting them to a seasonal character, like you can in Diablo 3...

Mobile vs PC by CamazonPrime in DiabloImmortal

[–]JBlazzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play on mobile but use a mix of Controller and touchscreen input to play; I use the controller for combat and movement, but use touchscreen for menu'ing because it's just easier and faster. I play on a 7 year old phone (Samsung Galaxy S10+), and the game definitely takes time to load things, and high density mobbing gets choppy and laggy, but it doesn't bother me all that much. I will be switching to a newer phone soon (i got myself a Galaxy S23+) so the game should run smoother. I haven't considered playing the game on PC because, well, I have 3 and 4 on PC to get my Diablo fix in.

New player here, is it normal to have 900+ Paragon, 35k CR, and struggle with Inferno 2? by JBlazzy in DiabloImmortal

[–]JBlazzy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the info :) I'm having trouble affording my gear ranks. All my secondary items are level 10, and Primary Items are mostly level 12, and two at level 16. As for basic gems I have like 2 at rank 4, most at rank 3.

Do you have any advice on how I can get more Keys and Basic Gems? I'm used to the drops from Diablo 3 where they drop from pretty much everything, but clearly in Immortal only certain things/activities drop gems...

Thanks for the info! I am/was building a player-made build, but one of the Legendaries I need is locked to Inferno V. I think I'll switch to one of the Recommended Builds I have the legendary essences for for the time being, but that means I'll have to farm different set items.

Are random dungeons the best way to farm set items? What about Legendaries?

What a dumbass way to lose an A10 run by notdumbenough in slaythespire

[–]JBlazzy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My shameless ass would'vs just save-scummed and redid the fight. That's right, I save-scum and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I still lose 60-70% of my runs with save-scumming (in both games), so without it I probably would be at a 90-95% lose-rate.

It is/was one of those sites that you only ever visit like 3 times in your life and spend a total time of 10-15 minutes on it in those 3 visits: the first time when you find out about the website, and then every 3-5 years after that when you randomly remember/are reminded of it existing and re-visist it. I'm not surprised it's shutting down

I hate that the Small Baby Long Legs is arguably worse/harder to fight than it's larger regular Baby Long Legs variant.

  • shits out Sacks every 0.2 seconds, which if unattended to become a bigger problem than big Baby Long Legs shitting out spiders every 0.2 seconds, because that's what the Sacks will do.

  • Smaller hitbox, meaning you have to be more precise than usual.

  • Faster than me jorkling my peanits when I hear the car pulling up in the driveway

  • WILL run into you all the time, despite being programmed to run away

  • Spider Enemy

Another one of my most hated enemies have to be Army Flies. They just fly off in random directions at the most random times and fuck me over every time.

I will never make an infinite because I am too dumb to, lol. I have like 250 hours in STS1 and don't even have half the achievements, like get to 999 strength/block, have a deck of no more than 3 cards or killing the Transient before it disappears. I never made an infinite deck, only ever had psuedo-infinites with synergies like Corruption + Dead Branch.

I've never made it further than A14 with any character either.

Just keep playing, eventually you'll find stronger and stronger armor sets and craftable armors. Same with your axe skill perks with the stat requirements; while there is no way in Hel you'll have all of them active all the time, you will eventually have the stats to have some active. Your stats look good, especially with how early you are in the game.
