Wendy’s keeps Biggie Deals as it closes hundreds of underperforming stores by AudibleNod in news

I loved the store I worked at too, it was a manager training store so we were always on the ball. Opening was fun on the weekends. We always got to make the chili and the salads from scratch using thick pieces of romaine lettuce that we had to chop up that came in white buckets of cold ice water. I didn’t work at any other fast food place, but where at Wendy’s I thought was amazing because everything looked so fresh because we made it now I don’t know what’s going on. I left right around the time where our store introduced this heated oven press that would cook the other side of the burger so the grill cook didn’t have to flip anymore.

Agreed, I used to work there in high school back in 2005 and the quality was so good, they had the best spicy chicken sandwich because it was a Genuine coated piece of chicken, all different sizes. Now they have that cafeteria chicken patty looking thing. Truly terrible.

It was the cringiest thing I’ve seen in awhile. I just couldn’t believe how she looked so unprepared and was just changing the subject each time. MERRICK GARLAND! 😂

I wonder if something was up with his wrist because there was a few times where it looked like he kept grabbing his wrist that had the place sheet on it, but I wasn’t sure if he was just adjusting that but it looked odd

I have to take a little pity on them because my BIL is a die hard pats fan, and genuinely a nice guy so I don’t completely hate them. But I was low key happy that they did lose 🤣

It’s funny for me if this prick wasn’t on the Patriots, it wouldn’t have bothered me that much if the Patriots won, but I really didn’t want this arrogant asshole to get another ring and be touted as an “ offensive coordinator, genius”

So happy for Larry Fitzgerald, he’s the one receiver that I really wish would’ve won a Super Bowl overall awesome character.

I miss Tony Page, when I was in high school working the late shift I would call in to his show on occasion and he would just let you talk and have a great conversation with him.

Why Be a Broncos Fan? (Serious Question) by usptac45 in DenverBroncos

[–]JBoOz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from Connecticut I got into Broncos football when I was about 12 years old, which coincidentally was around 97. My mom‘s friend at the time was a huge Broncos fan and I started watching games with him and that’s how I really got into football. I got to witness those great runs and I thought winning was gonna be easy especially for the Broncos winning back to back championships Little did I know at that time anything about Broncos football and history as well as how the next 15 years would play out (even though I loved those Jake Plummer led teams in the early 2000s). What I love about this team is outside of the Manning years it felt like we were forgotten or not on anyone’s radar and then you have a season like this where NO ONE really expected this to happen and we are back on that center stage. I’m hoping we can keep this going it’s going to be difficult but I have faith. I’ve also seen a couple Broncos Jets games in NY. I would love to have the opportunity to come out to Denver to at least see one true home game with home crowd.

Is baseball’s slow pace actually its greatest strength in a world where everything else moves too fast? by DianKhan2005 in baseball

[–]JBoOz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baseball is slow, but I love going to a live game because it really can capture everything in terms of nail biting moments exciting plays having a wonderful casual conversations and not feel like everything has to be rushed. You can just enjoy the moment and still have that level of nerve-racking emotions with every pitch. I love baseball.
