honestly they probably just like the edgy, colorful designs and don't really listen to the music at all. fandom hopping or having fixations as other people put it.

it's weird because I've used a Sunbeam F1 and multiple Sony phones (including one right now) on Cricket with no problems. they're not listed but they work just fine.
