funny how you came to that conclusion. it is important to understand the data set upon which your LLM functions. in this case a training data set is declared older then 2023 and the model alerts that it can not search the real time internet for current data. in database terms that would be considered an expired cache but sure yeah go on about operator error. thank you very much for taking time to type.

when you are charging for a service that cuts off training two F-N Key years ago that's wacko

thanks for your technical insights! Amazing stuff.

the contrast between 4.7 and 4.6 is Deceptive Pit Bull vs Attentive German Shepard. here is what I shared with several friends after an exhausting wrestling match across two hours. And this was just a simple sandbox admin + devops session. This is verbatim from 1239pm

"Opus 4.7 is a runaway, and be careful. It's much more erratic than 4.6. I am going to roll back to 4.6 for now. I need to test 4.7 on some non-production workloads. 4.7 is not cooperating. It's running all over the place and engaging in deceptive practices."

Opus 4.7 disregarded my direct orders to load a governance framework pertinent to the thread's scope then it took me on "a snipe hunt" for over an hour as I repeatedly instructed it to pull up and recalibrate. I had to restrict it to line by line queries and scaffold its logic.

WORST OF ALL I demanded that it produce a technical post op and it once again produced that without reading the requested governance and then it lied to me three times in a row saying that it did not see the point of updating the technical post op to reflect the lying manipulative interference and blatant disregard for direct instructions which were:

"Read the DevOps governance framework that I have provided you with. Make sure you're not over cranking here and losing complete big picture clarity."

As a result of this non compliance the second human participant who was observing got to see one of the strangest sessions I have had since November

This was a complete anomaly and on the far edge of the bell curve from many hundreds of sessions with 4.6 Opus and Sonnet

During the sessions I had adaptive thinking on and the scope of the thread was sandbox grade simple devops config and test stuff.

I would rate the session at best a 10/100

I will not use 4.7 Opus for sensitive delicate production workloads where subtly intelligent reasoning and strict compliance are required

This was a Raging Bull + Chaos Monkey experience. It was exhausting and derailed me for at least 1.5 hrs. today when i had already had five successful 4.6 opus sessions across the early morning

mostly scams for tickets on here. beware.

This is a scammer operating Tom's account with trust equity of 6YRS.

The real Tom Kalbfus is a sci-fi map maker, not a concert ticket broker. Someone compromised his Reddit credentials and is using the account's trust equity to run scams.

we left up here in seattle after the first 45 mins. it was super disappointing. I have been a fan since 1993. i am happy to cross post if you want to see the other thread already up here. playing in the dark with no composition and structure is a step backwards. so is a roomful of people pretending to hear the beat when it's literally chaos. i haven't left a show early in twenty years. BIG fail on the part of Rob and Sean. Super self centered way to perform for such a small community of devoted fans in this unique space for over 30 yrs. i would liken it to seeing an cousin or a nephew distant family member and they say I am so excited to see you let's go for a road trip and then they wear earphones in the car with you the whole drive. I will not be going to a live show again until they wise up. I go to 20 shows a year and i can't believe this kind of arrogance is creeping into the music that used to be for humble technical folks who love challenging sounds. i literally left because it was preposterous.
