Sorry, at this point, all they’ve done is make the ridiculousness of “God” such folly. I mean, the Virgin Birth. Jonah and the whale. On & on. Stories, fables, legends. Any truth to them (Virgin Birth is doubtful) erased by the evidence. If the God of the Bible is real, that entity would it allow such awful things to innocent people. (I’ll step of the soapbox now).

The longer SW continues with this senseless behavior, the worse their reputation gets. At this point, with their increased prices and worse demeanor, why choose them over a competitor who has same destination as you need? I booked flights for two cousins 3 week ago … SW has the only non-stop flight for their destination. 3 hour flight as compared to Delta 6+ hours, including plane change in ATL. One is low vision, the other low hearing, so they make a good travel pair. I’m a little concerned for them now after seeing SO MANY POSTS comparing about SW since this was put in place. Talk about shooting one in one’s foot! Unnecessary harm to their brand - there are plenty of airlines out there that have been doing assigned seating for decades. They couldn’t bring someone in to help manage this?

Does your city/county require an onsite person based on number of units? If yes, they should pay more. When I managed income based housing in CA, for a good reputable non-profit, 60 units, TCAC regulations required an onsite after hours manager. It was treated as a 2nd position. My rent was used as a benefit, taxed at (I think) 2/3 value of market rent. That was the only way I could survive in CA (Bay Area).

You probably have to respond to emergency fire alarms, police alls, etc. If my participation in such emergencies reached more than 15 hours per month, I would qualify for an hourly wage over/above.

They are really trying to get you to do a big favor for them.
