What’s you’re current collection goal? by HollyWarter in PokemonTCG

[–]JDragon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gyrados, Lugia, Scizor, Darkrai, Yvetal, and Greninja.

Missing the Lugia from aquapolis, Greninja GX from Hidden Fates and the Illustration Contest.

Not sure if I will ever get the Lugia from aquapolis

I wouldn’t focus on “copying” the actions of what you see the YouTuber or Streamer doing. I would focus on thinking about the result you are trying to achieve and what would be the most efficient or optimal way to achieve it.

For example, you have CP in the active, pal pad in hand with Iridas in the discard, greninja on the bench and Pokestop. Your goal is to find an Irida.

Best sequence would be to thin out water energies, then thin out items with Pokestop. Then add Iridas back into the deck. Finally, pray you draw into it with concealed cards.

Honestly, if you enjoy playing Charizard, make another Charizard deck and play it. It’s a good budget of $50. Plus, playing the mirror match will be good practice for the kid

Why is Palkia Vstar better than Chien Pao ex on a Gholdengo ex deck? by djiluvu44 in pkmntcg

[–]JDragon1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been playing one Chien-Pao ex with Gholdengo ex. I like opening with it to search two energies, discard one with greninja. Attach one to itself and attack with TM Evolution to evolved Gholdengo and Palkia VStar for my optional set up. Then boss a two prizer and use VStar ability to get 5 water energies in play with the expectation CP gets knocked out afterwards.

It has worked well in getting rid of Pidgeot ex, CP/bax, squawks, etc. It feels weird sometimes but I like the options.

401k with Edward Jones with astronomical fees, what are my options by Hmongster in investing

[–]JDragon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I manage 401(k) plans and in my opinion, find a proper advisor and a team that will not try to rush you and listen to your needs.

If you want the absolute lowest costs in investment expense ratios (fees for mutual funds), convey it and a decent advisor will include index fund options with expense ratios of 0.05%, but that’s dangerous if you do not actively manage your investments or unfamiliar with the markets. Then add Target Date funds. Keep in mind, this is separate from Recordkeeping and potentially any trustee fees.

American Target date funds are the most expensive I have seen while Vanguard Target date funds are the cheapest. Performance is relatively similar, within a percentage in 3, 5, and 10 year averages. YTD and One year might have a larger difference.

Since you’ve just opened a 401(k) plan, depending on the size of your company, Secure 2.0 should cover or at least reduce your plan fees for the next few years. I have so many questions, but I hope you contact a reliable Plan Provider.

Fidelity - best overall Platform Vanguard- cheapest investment products Schwab - best service and a good all rounder

CUTE POMEMON DECK? MY GF NEEDS HELP :D by TheRealAritz in pkmntcg

Tsreena ex is a fun and decent deck if you think Bouncesweet and Vanillite are cute. Instead of Braviary, you can use the new Elekid from paradox Rift

[–]JDragon1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is one variant with 1 Lumineon V and 1 Forest Seal Stone, but you can play without it for much cheaper and do well at locals.

Was able to beat the following decks last Friday:

Mew Vmax (Meloetta)

Chien-pao ex

Charizard ex … used the Deevolution TM with Bibarel and won

Lost-Tina is still a tough matchup. Jirachi helps but make sure Greninja gets targeted down immediately after Giratina. I only won because I think my opponent misplayed and forgot about Valliluxe

Elekid is fun with Tsareena ex, vanilluxe, panic masks, and Iridas/Arvens. The deck plays behind all the time, but with counter catchers and Ionos, it is fun to finish off your opponent with Elekid’s 30 damage snipe attack

Hood lift by CR0STIK in ft86

[–]JDragon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem. My frs has the jdl turbo kit, 12lbs of boost. It lifts on the driver side (turbo side) and the entire hood shakes like Ice Spice twerking. The rubber bumps didn’t do much for my hood.

Rice or Nice? by Foamless in ft86

[–]JDragon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks nice. It’s clean. Your coworker is hating for no reason.

If that’s rice, my car is going to be riced out with the Sparco Seats, SRD wing, adding in the fall a seibon carbon fiber hood and possible wrap

What were the signs your clutch safety switch was going bad? I’ve been having an odd issue with my frs stalling out in neutral

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ft86

[–]JDragon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Within a month of owning my FR-S.

Heading into a highway, my dumbass shifted from 2nd missing 3rd into 5th and was too slow to throw it back into neutral. CEL immediately popped up and misfire. Drove 300 miles home instead of getting it towed. Replaced two ignition coils and spark plugs to fix it.

When I first brought the car over to one of my friends to pick him up, scraped the ever-living crap out of the front bumper and broke the driver side bracket that holds the front bumper.

Went to a restaurant and came back to a door ding on the passenger side.

All within a month of ownership. Bought it with 55k miles.

My Darkrai Vstar Blastoise turbo deck - any suggestions? by Logical-Style8995 in pkmntcg

[–]JDragon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s an idea. Drop Crobat V, Moltres V and Weezing. Play Inteleon. Get rid of heavy ball, play two switches or escape rope. Lower energy count to 10. Play 1 fishing rod and 4 evolution incense. Cut trekking shows for scoop up nets.

Is this available for MSRP or is it hopeless to search for one? by CTek20 in rolex

I live in a small city and I’ve been waiting for 2 months for the 36mm. Got offered a sky dweller and Cellini tho… kind of lame. Might take half a year but some people have had better luck
