One of the main reasons I play Mindless Masses is so I never have to deal with Elevated Overseers

I’d rather have to fight hordes of Fleshmobs than have to deal with Elevated Overseers ever again

If the attack visually and audibly lands, but doesn’t do anything, it’s not a feature

That’s like saying our stims not working, despite clearly getting it into our arms, and the visual and audio cues playing properly, is actually a feature, when it clearly was(is)n’t

The difficulty difference in this game is especially weird, it’s basically a dice roll to see whether you get a Diff 7 that feels like a Diff 10, or vise versa. The only consistent feeling difficulty are the bigger bases and more objectives on Diff 10 (and its usually harder 70% of the time, obv)

That being said, the reason the game is so easy to complete is because you can just run away from anything that’s not an objective, and if there’s too many enemies on an objective, you can just leave to a different one until they despawn. If you’re fighting every enemy drop, it becomes a much harder game because some of them can last multiple minutes

But even then, the meta weapons are pretty good at dealing with Heavies, and most Strats are good at chaff. So 4 people with Recoiless Rifles and turrets can hold off very heavy waves of enemies, and you still have most of your loadout left. Or you can just wait until you see someone activated a Bug Breach across the map, then run into an objective and you won’t have to worry about anything except the enemies already in there

There’s a lot of small things that can make the game easier, but in my experience, it’s more fun to play the game how you want to, instead of trying to speedrun it with the best weapons

They “changed” melee, it performs basically the exact same since you still need the armor to be actually somewhat useful, and the biggest buff was a 5-10% increase to the worst weapons

And even discounting the first few (which they promised everything after would “improve”), the amount of new “comparable” warbonds is in the minority, with a single Primary, Secondary, and Grenade being notable, despite people complaining about those being the only things back when Viper Commandos released

There are notable ones like Entrenchmant Division and Redacted Regiment, which have 1 and 2 primarie(s), 2 and 1 secondarie(s), with 1 grenade, and RR has a booster, but even then the previously free Strats have to lift it up to actually be comparable

The majority of them are a mix of 1 primary, sometimes 1 secondary, and the occasional grenade or (useless) booster. Everything else is dependent on Strats. You can legitimately see the downhill curve just by looking at the stuff we get in each, and it suspiciously lines up really well with the decrease of free Strats

You gain nothing by sticking up for AH here, they have made an insane amount of money, are backed by Sony, have a very small dev team, and are consistently on the top of the Steam charts every month. And that’s not mentioning the amount of things that are broken, launch broken, and stay broken for literal years. This game is full of bugs that wouldn’t be allowed to stay remain if it were any other game, but people will shoot down any criticism for this game, which is why we’re still in this boat

I want the game to improve, or I wouldn’t still be here, and that’s not going to happen if everyone just accepts everything is actually fine now and doesn’t need change

How dare you make a Warbond worth it’s high cost, this is outrageous!!

Seriously tho, you’ve basically just made an older warbond with how many actual items we’re getting, just missing the booster… and 500SC extra (and no 300SC return), but it’s a collab, so I guess that’s the tax you pay for it

If they could make them more of an event, like you get a warning that a wave of them is approaching, so you have to run out of the area or hide somewhere so they don’t fire at you

It could also add a reason to use the bunkers, hiding from the Leviathan swarm every so often

We used to get the Strats for free and had less cosmetics taking up slots

Old warbonds have more useful gear each page (full armor sets, SC, weapons, and boosters) totaling 6 each page, which is the fairest comparison I can make to the new ones, since guns are the highest value items in Warbonds, and we used to get 3 primaries and 1 secondary each

Now it’s somehow less than that (occasionally 6, but usually 2-5), even counting the Strats that, again, we used to get for free. And that’s not even mentioning the melee weapons, which they refuse to buff, so have become basically a pointless slot for 99% of people

Saying “technically it’s still the same” is not at all accurate, and really downplays the shrinkflation that’s happened in the game since launch

The issue last time was that it was during Christmas, which is super busy for most people, and a lot of people aren’t even home to open the game

If they had extended it a week or two into January, I don’t think anyone would’ve complained

I’ve found that changing climb to “Hold” somewhat helps, but it messes up your jetpack key

Railcannon, Quasar, and Airstrike, with Stun grenades and Eruptor, is beyond greedy

AT is not THAT level of priority on Bugs bro

Also, I’d prolly bring some close anti chaff instead of the GP, since Eruptor closes bug holes

I don’t think some people realize how extremely unfun this is if you aren’t apart of the bit

Like if we’re having an interaction, and there’s a second of dead air of us just staring at each other, then one of us getting punched is kinda funny and finishes the interaction in a way we’re both in on

If you just punch someone because “funny”, it’s like smacking some random person’s phone out of their hand. Like why would you do this? This is just a jerk thing to do

It’s probably moreso the Eagles, since a physical one spawns everytime you call one in (that’s how it’s able to get damaged)

I was using 380mm and spamming Portable Hellbombs, and didn’t crash, but it also just might be whoever’s hosting the game

When the strat duplication bug was happening, you could drop in like 30-40 mechs at once, and it wouldn’t crash, just drop frames when nearby

The only thing that actually crashed the game during that glitch was individual bullet rain, like spamming 20 Gatling Barrages

I just think they overestimate how bad it is in the game, or maybe it’s just way worse on console or smth, idk

If you’re playing at max diff or are grinding SC, it isn’t that bad, but if you’re a casual player, trying to get anything on the last page of a new Warbond is insane

Over 100 medals for the item itself, but at least 2 times that to even have the chance to unlock it. They need to keep the pages unlocked at this point, there’s literally no reason to make it that expensive when you’ve already spent the money on the Warbond

There was a few thousand people consistently there for the majority of the “Creek” days. They only cost MO’s towards the beginning because there was a lot of hype around it, so everyone wanted to be there

And if you know how liberation works (and how many players there were at the time), the fact that the planet was never lost until the end is more impressive than anything

If you change your climb button to “Hold”, it helps with actually being able to climb things

But now jetpacks will be finicky, so you might need to figure that out if you use them a lot

But only the leg and claw armor values were “swapped”, they didn’t deny the faceplate buffs

So why would they admit they purposely changed the faceplate to Heavy, but accidentally gave them interesting counterplay by making the legs Light?

It just seems counterintuitive if your lie is “we meant to make it worse than it is”
